I had never seen an old warrior or emperor in person before I bought them and I was a little nervous about it but I thought, Id never really been disapointed with a Windstone sculpt, so I just went for it.

I know! Me too! When I opened up my OW my eyes just about bugged out of my head. He is so big and heavy! I knew he was going to be larger than most of my other sculpts, but I wasnt quite expecting that much. I love him though. The OW is my favorite Windstone sculpt.

My reaction was exactly the same 😆
The SK is my fave sculpt and I dont have one yet! 🙁
But the OW is DEFINATELY my second fave! 😀March 11, 2008 at 9:37 pm #676825travistie wrote:I want a peacock OW too. But I’m so picky. He has to be excellent/near mint condition… with tag and box. How easy will that be to find? 😆
I would happily take one even with a few chips 😀
March 11, 2008 at 9:58 pm #676826I don’t remember if my peacock came with his box or not. If he did I threw it out, not thinking it was important 😀 I’ve learned otherwise now though. I have boxes stacked on top of my dresser in my closet and on top of my rabbit’s cage lol. boxes within boxes within boxes…
I want more kirin babies in different colors! That’s my new squeak, more kirins!March 12, 2008 at 1:25 am #676827Just an FYI – The white male has been listed to Ebay. I edited my first post about it.
Thanks.March 12, 2008 at 2:13 pm #676828… I collect model horses too and have well over 200 of those!! Eek! I’ve been contemplating how to wean down the collection without doing it randomly. Such as I have 5-6 of the same mold in different colors- should I just keep one of each mold as a rule for myself or should I just pick 4 or 5 of my favorite molds and only collect in those molds, etc. Decisions decisions lol
March 14, 2008 at 5:38 pm #676829BUMP – Auction ends tonight.
Thanks 🙂
March 14, 2008 at 11:22 pm #676830My auction is ending soon. But that’s not the reason I posting again. I’m kinda worried about the bidding activity on it. The person with zero feedback has numerous bids all one after another… driving the price up. The person just started their Ebay account on the 12th. Does this look suspicious to anyone else… or am I just being paranoid? It’s not an overly special piece like the ones Windstone lists… but still looks off to me.
March 14, 2008 at 11:36 pm #676831Could you e-mail them and ask for a few references? If they don’t reply you can always cancel their bids and relist the auction if it makes you super nervous.
I’m watching him closely and was planning on bidding on him, but now that you pointed that out it makes me wonder. Hmm. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for references.
March 14, 2008 at 11:42 pm #676832It actually ended up not going to that other bidder. So it all worked out. Probably just a new Ebay member trying to get used to bidding n’ stuff. I just got worried cause I’ve had an auction of mine hacked in the past… and it seems to be very frequest lately. That’s why I was worried. I just hate to jump to conclusions about bidders though. But nothing to worry about now. 🙂
