True, but all the changes shes made on so many is not good. I was thinking about the Rainbow as well, but I’m not sure now.
Its like she thinks she got a gold mine all of a sudden.Yes, that’s how I feel too. I don’t mind that she’s new. It’s all those changes. Well, I hope it all works out for her and her buyers.
I’ve been in contact with her….ans the prices keep on changing, she seems nice….but I still feel infy about the whole thing and it seems like the prices just keep on going up… 😕

Yeah, I know what all of you mean. I’ve been waiting for her to list the Alchemists Tower so I emailed her about it and she told me soon. I saw it today and the starting bid is $129.00. I really don’t want to pay that much but I figured it is the last one I need so what the hell. I bid $130.00 and it said the reserve has not been met so I bid $135.00 and still said the reserve had not been met. I then emailed her to tell her that the price was a bit more then I had ever seen it go before. I told her I only paid $120.00 for my Castle of the Hawks and that the original listing price was only $88.00. I knoe the piece has been retired for a while but I don’t see it going for more than $120.00. The Castle of the Merry Ghost on ebay right now is only $75.00. So I asked her if she would tell me the reserve price and maybe we could work something out. Hell, shes not but 45 miles away from me I could go and pick it up and be done with it! How high would you guys pay for an Alchy Tower? Ok, done with my rant now! 😛
Well the seller seems to be looking o gouge the prices. She listed the Rainbow Male I asked about and she has the reserve set at $219.00… Is it me or is this a bit much?
I just got a Rainbow mother for $126.
I even gave the link to the database so they have an idea on what to set the reserve at. This is the response I got…
my reserve is 219.00. I think that is reasonable. If i do not get my reserves that I asked for then they will not sell now and I will try later. but the prices will probalry go a little higher as more of these items go from buyer to buyer, and I hear alot of people are being real careless in teh way they ship them. I have started with my first two reserves and they were both scooped up in less then 2 hours. I think my prices are very reasonalb considering the condition and the fact that I have all original boxes and tags for each one.This seller is getting to sound very cocky!! Thanks GB, I want the castle so much but I am not going to pay that high of a price. I’m not stupid. I’ve been collecting for about 11 years now and am not going to be taken advantage of! The most expensive castle is the merry ghost. It sold for $150.00. But it is the biggest one and it is very beautiful. I think I may wait for another to come up. Ravnheart, I don’t know how you feel about it but as far as I’m concerned she can find someone else to sell to!!!
Yea I agree with you. I think the prices on most of them are a bit too high. Maybe when they don’t sell they will drop the prices to something more reasonable 😛
Well I just emialed her to see what the reserve price is on the Rainbow Emperor…so we will see what she will respond with.
Originally she said that the reserve price was at $299 but that was when he was listed for $199 and since now the price has gone up…I’ll see what the reserve price is up at….
I just don’t know what to think about this seller…being new and all is totally fine but changing all the prices is just not cool once the item has been listed and questions were replied to… 😕Marzena

Well, I just got emailed back and they said the reserve on the Alchy is $149.00. Way too much! It would be nice to come to a deal on this piece that we could both be happy with.
I got emailed back and they said they were sorry for the price changing, they just didn’t know what they had if the price should go up or down. They said they are charging for shipping and insurance but they will double box. I still want the castle so I may have to pay a higher price but now I have comp, keschete is going after the same thing 🙁

UPDATE: To all, I am sorry that if I am messing up a little. I am brand new to this selling part, and did not realize I had the emperor rainbow. I am in the navy and I have been in San Diego for two years while my family sits in lemoore. Just forgot what I had, I have original boxes, with tags, and boxes are labeled with what was in them. I will gladly add an extra box and padding on all shipments so they do not break. My first starting price was based on Peacock, but the rainbow when I bought him obviously cost me more. I adjusted that selling price. My reserve on it is 449.00. That is the truth , I will bring the reserve down to 399.00 so you all do not think I am some money hungry ass. I will do better research in the future before I put any more up. I am not trying to decieve anyone, as abviously you are all very passionate about your collections. The combo on the white emperor was a favor to the first person who contacted me. Please any questions, I will answer them completely and fully.
I did send them the database so they could see the prices they have sold for over the last 2 years on eBay. It would help a ton on what they should start at since the prices always go up as time goes by.
Im still wondering if the reserve is still high on that. The database shows:
High $ 285,00 Low $ 227,50 Avg $ 264,17
Though there only has 3 sales for mint, and not sure when they sold.Sounds like they go alot of contact messages about the auctions 😛
