I sell Windstones at a few science fiction conventions, but mostly in the midwest. I have a list of them on my website on the Contact Us page. I think I need to update it though. I was going to try to go to DragonCon this year, but couldn’t afford the booth/table. Maybe next year. It’s on my Bucket List. 🙂
Just so you know, you’d have some stiff competition at Dragon*Con– http://www.shopnh.com/dragons/index.asp shows there in the dealer’s room and the last two years I’ve been, they’ve carried the entire Windstone line. It was kinda neat, since I hadn’t seen many of the statues before in person!
Last year they didn’t have as many Windstone as they normally do. It was kind of disappointing.
But I think that Windstone should put some Special pieces in the Dragon-con silent auction! It would be great advertising and what better way to promote Dragons and Griffins than a Fantasy art show that over 50,000 people attend 😀
Oh Jen are you going to be there this year? *crosses fingers*

I remember from my one trip to DC (almost 10 years ago) that there was at least one dealer selling Windstones in the Dealers Room. There may have been more and I just missed them in all the confusion. I would imagine though that it might be cost prohibitive though…shipping stock to be sold and then possibly not selling it.
I think we do have a dealer that sells at Dragon con.. I’ll have to ask someone about that…

Dragon’s Lair didn’t have many pieces, because like a lot of other Windstone dealers… he couldn’t get them!! Windstone was moving by that point and there were no way to fill their orders!
The silent auction rarely fetches anywhere near the eBay prices people see on Windstones. Truth be told, when I had a few there one year, people were scoffing at my prices, and they were less than average. I am none too pleased with Dragon*Con, they actually screwed me over. :/ I am no longer attending. I never made enough to even cover my costs.

You do. I actually talked to them in person this past weekend.
