I HATE that stupid bridge, ok well I dislike all bridges, but that one, especially when a train goes over it while you are on it :puke: . Ok so that said, congrats Snap on moving to a healthier place!!!
Trains don’t go over that bridge anymore.. just the streetcar. Freight trains through the smack of downtown wouldn’t go over very well.
But now I’m thinking.. where DO they cross the river? I’m drawing a total blank. The LRT has it’s own bridge right next to the High Level … but where does freight cross…
It sounds like the move was pretty much a win-win for everyone. I think it’s worth driving a little farther to get rid of the allergy problem. :yes: I’ll have to google Groat Road.
The other condo didn’t have room for a washer and dryer?? 😮 Poor Tami!! I bet she is thrilled with the new place!! 🙂
I’d love to see the electric trains. Will we be able to see the webcam view sometimes? Pretty please!!! 😀

And of course the ONLY time I had to drive across the city alone that was the only freaking bridge I could find, but I made it, kept my eyes open and everything XD .
Congratz on the new digs. Yes I recognize the area, but that’s about it. 😀 Keeping in mind that I’m not actually from Edmonton……….

But the all glass one at the top left is where I worked for the government for five years, Commerce Place.
If you look at my last picture, the big building on the left with the lights on… in your picture, that is the green building at the bottom left. So that gives you an idea of the angle.

Since you love to find Park Plaza so much… it’s directly East of me. Like… literally straight line East. And that would be… umm.. 8 blocks over I believe.
Hah! I finally found one facing the right direction. Pretty low res pic though, and middle of winter. I think that’s my building, it’s hard to tell in the snow. Looks right.
Pretty trees! I can make out the building if I squint hard enough. I guess there aren’t many photos of it on google. The favorite view seems to be the one that includes the red building.
I might get unlazy this weekend and go out and take a picture.
