I got Mimic about four years ago, so I know she has appreciated since then. I found Barnacle for only $20, I think. I didn’t care whether they were MOC or not, I just wanted ponies in good condition. And remember everyone, it may cost a lot of money, but once you pay it off IT’S YOURS!!! 😀

AND you dont have to worry about finding another one! haha

There is another Pink Curl on ebay that is already up there in price again! Looks to be from first batch and not the darker pink so, I dunno!

Oh goodness, I have some MLPs stored in my closet that I’m almost embarrassed to look at. There’s just something about re-visiting an old childhood collection that made you ecstatic to visit the toy store though… didn’t make me a very practical person with my newfound independence and money. 😆

And $56 for Mimic is an insanely good deal. I’ve seen her run upwards of $200 in mint condition. She’s a modestly rare, but very sought after Twinkle Eye.

You guys seem to know a lot about My Little Ponies. I have a lot of them from when I was kid. Including some of the special pieces you had to mail order from the company. I looked them up on ebay but there are so many notations about where they came from I was lost. Any advice?

Setsunawolf, you have come to the right place! There is a price guide right now for My Little Ponies on the market, but I think the guide itself is now a collector’s edition. There are also some websites that can help in identification, too. What info do you specifically need?

Great place to ID them is http://mylittleponycollector.com/. There’s even a pricing guide there (it hasn’t been updated since 2003 three though).

Thanks, pegasi! Here’s a few I frequently use:
          http://www.kimsites.net/dreamvalley/index.html
          http://mlpland.com/?l=2
          http://www.geocities.com/EnchantedForest/Mountain/4598/

These are just G1 ponies, though. If you need the info for the other generations I can post some more. 🙂

Okay, lets just say I own all of them through those cute twins, flutter ponies, the first set the second set, the rainbow ponies, the sea horse ones both baby and adult. Maybe more, I also have baby Blue, pink, and lavender and all the birth month ponies. The castle. the mansion, the dance studio, the ice cream parlor, lemon’s house….hmmm looking at this list I wasn’t spoiled much was I? 😆

G1 means Generation 1 ponies, the ones made from 1981-1992. Your ponies are G1 ponies.

G1 refers to the MLPs made between 1980 and 1995.

Pegasi, what G1 ponies were made past 1992?

There were evidently some international ones produced past 1992. At least that’s according to http://mylittleponycollector.com/.

I’m thinking I must have almost all of them through the 1st seven years. A few of them may still be in their original packaging.

Aaaah, I never really got into the international ponies; that’s why I didn’t know that! I only bought international ponies if they had a non So-Soft pony I wanted (like Buttons or North Star). 🙂 Setsunawolf, you are sitting on a gold mine if they’re still in their original packaging!!! 😯 😀
