WOW that’s crazy. Do you think the bidders think it is a piece by Olympia or Jennifer? Whoever they are they must be desperate to get a pink curlie.

Mos def!! I overpaid on several items when I found Windstone again after a long absence. Yikes!
I see I have been fortunate. I have been gouged on many purchases for items, but none have been Windstones. I hope that luck holds out. 😯

still…I’d have a hard time spending so much on a curlie…..I’d probably use the cash on one of the larger dragons…..

that little pink curlie is mine actually. i’m really trying to pare down what i can live without to get money for my dog. i found i like the intense colors better on the curls than the pearls, so i figured that with people hot for pearls right now why not start with her? i’m trying to really sort out who else i can part with that also won’t bomb on ebay, and i know people like the curls. i was going to put my peacock mother up, but the one that ended last night only sold for 30 bucks! 🙁
the one i have up IS from the second batch, so it was a darker one, but not crazy dark. she is richer and more pepto-y in person, but its an unusual color for my camera to capture.Yeah, that was me 😳 I realized that I had overbid on the pink curl after I had put the bid in and couldn’t retract it. Sometimes I just mess up, not the first time. I’m still really new at this and my messups are not usually this public. They do cost me a lot of money that I will probably not ever make back. I’m still learning what most of you seem to know already. So I keep trying and it keeps costing me, but I really love my dragons and I love being on this forum and I’m sorry if I seem stupid and foolish, sometimes I am. I don’t understand a lot of things about this place, but I’m proud that I have learned as much as I have. So.

Don’t beat yourself up too much, drgnlvr. I know I’ve overpaid on auctions from e-bay. I doubt you’ll find too many people who haven’t; it’s part of the learning curve. Unfortunately, that’s how you learn. 🙁 As long as you learn and are happy with your purchases, that’s what counts, right? I don’t think you’re stupid or foolish at all, you’re buying what you love and learning in the process. That’s what really matters.
