Sorry you have to work, Leigha, though I suppose the pay is nice. 🙁
December 9, 2009 at 5:44 pm #795196That sucks having to work. I have had duty on Christmas many a time. This year I lucked out and got it on the 19th. A Saturday, which sucks, but better than Christmas.
And I hear ya Dragon87. My family is all over the place. Next year, we are all heading to Florida to see some of my family, and then to Kentucky, to see my husbands family for Christmas. Maybe my twin from Idaho can make his way to come see us there.
December 9, 2009 at 7:56 pm #795197The pay is definately nice ^^ which is the only reason I’m not throwing too much of a fit. I atleast didn’t get the opening shift at 7 or 8 am

Where in FL Ski?
December 10, 2009 at 7:02 am #795199A neighbor of the family I babysit for every week has their Christmas décor up, and my goodness, their house and grounds are one big glowing constellation of Christmas lights. I’m going to take a picture tonight to share with you guys.

Brooksville and Crystal River. I have a brother in one and a sister in the other. Is that near you? Gotta Google it. 😀December 10, 2009 at 7:21 pm #795201I dug out my Christmas lights but only two colors were working. I wanna get some of those nice purple ones they have now. The new led colors are soo neat!

I have not seen those yet. I’ll look for them when I start decorating the house.
December 10, 2009 at 10:27 pm #795203I’m about 40 miles from Brooksville and 50 from Crystal River. (hint, hint) XD
December 10, 2009 at 10:54 pm #795204Yeah Leigha–Holiday pay–and there is a certain OW you’re interested in—hmmmmmm–would make a nice present to yourself! 😀 Just trying to put things in perspective! 😳
December 10, 2009 at 11:02 pm #795205^^ yes, that holiday pay will be put to good use!

December 14, 2009 at 2:59 am #795207Whee Christmas! This will be the first one where I’ll be together the whole day with my hubby, splitting our time between our two families. Our Christmas gift to each other this year is to be able to wake up in the same bed together! As for decorations, I’m the only one who decorates the tree, because I am very careful to make sure the ornaments are very secure and can’t get knocked off! My treasured heirlooms from my Granny are her antique glass ornaments, and every year every single one of them goes on the tree before any of the modern ones have to fight for the leftover space 🙂 I haven’t gotten my shopping finished yet, but thank goodness for online shopping, because that’s where I got my start!
Forever seeking: Blackwatch the raffle Old Warrior, Jennifer Miller's pieces, and GB Baby unis!
December 14, 2009 at 3:22 am #795208That’s usually where I do the majority of my Christmas shopping, anymore! Sooo much easier. 😀

I love going out shopping. When I have to buy something on line, its just not as fun. I love the stores, carrying the bags, torturing my son. Its too much fun.
