I’m having the same problem with a commission. I’m waiting on two pieces I sent in June.
No response to any of my inquires since mid July. I’ve had a piece done by her before and it turned out great.
I’m as much concerned as anything since we have emailed back and forth on a regular basis for over a year. I know she’s had some medical issues so I’d really like to know if she’s ok. Obviously I’d like my items back if she can no longer, or doesn’t have the time to, paint. But mostly I’d like to know if everything is all right.Oh and she is a forum member
I’m having that problem, too. The person was always very good about responding before, so I’m wondering if something happened to them…I sure hope not. 🙁
Wow. Sorry to see that there are that many others having the same problem. 😯 I kind of hope that it’s all with the same person. I’d hate to think that there are several members that are falling thru on their commitments.
Personally, I’d feel a lot better about this if I just knew what was going on. A little communication would go a long way toward being more patient. My last PM is still sitting in my outbox. 🙁

But if they are not a good forum member then it might be a solution. And I wasn’t saying to make them get involved (act like a policeman), but maybe they would have more info on that person that would be helpful.
Ok… no answer to email or PM’s, but is posting about a new hobby on their website (yesterday). I’m getting a bit ticked off. I should probably just write it off, but……

Hmm….I’m guessing we are talking about two different people. My person hasn’t updated their website since early July…around the last time I heard from them.
Well, I know who Khat is having problems with, and I think I know who copper is having problems with. But, I don’t know about Lamorte. (Saddly, there are at least three people that come to mind when reading this thread though. 🙁 )

Just wanted to let y’all know that my person has been in touch with me. Had not been emailing due to working overtime, medical issues ( too tired and/or too much pain to even care about checking personal mail,adjusting to meds) and moving. We are back on track now finishing one commission and discussing the other. I’m so relieved everything is OK I hope the other one or two? are resolved soon. I’ll be pullin for ya! 8)
btw could someone tell me how to add a pic to my signature and how to get the color working Or is there a tutorial on here some where? I’ve got everything else to work but not the text color grrrr
