      Actually I think the poll should be changed to actual numbers…like 1-3 4-6 7-9 10-15 16-15 25+
because if someone has 4 pieces, a peacock mother and father, a russet curlie and a pearl griffin chick, then 100% of their collection is retired/LP, where as someone with 60 Windstones and 6 are retired or LP…then that’s only 10%, but they have more retired/LP/LE pieces than the person who has 4, yet has 100%.

Good point, Wolfen. That explains why the majority of the voters have 90% retired, LP and LE.

        Okay, well… I put 80%, but it’s actually 85% for me. I have 69 Windstones (not incl PYOs)… 10 are current production, 33 retired, 23 LP, 2 LE, and 1 OOAK.

        😯 Oy… that is why I keep a spreadsheet of my pieces….

I marked 50% but i think I’m MUCH higher. I will have to go thru them when I’m at home.
As was brought up before how would you count PYO’s??

          Well as far as I can tell I have 77 4 pyo’s
Of the 73 left I have 53 retired or Limited and 20 not retired or Limited.
I will have to confirm these numbers tonight

Hmmm, most of mine is retired as I mainly collect the white. Of course now you have me pondering. I’m gonna go figure it out….:runs off for pen and paper:

While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!

Actually, 85.7 % of my collection is retired/LP, so I rounded up to 90%. (Especially as the 85.7 was calculated before I bought my White OW.)

Interested in buying or trading for: GB Pebble Sitting Red Fox in dark grey, Lap Dragon Test Paints (Water Sprite, Glacial Pearl, Opulence, Pastel Rainbow, and many others - see my Classifieds ad), Blue Morpho OW, GB Pebble Loaf dragons in blue/aqua/teal, and Griffin Test Paints (Black Rainbow or Frosted Jade).

            Rounding up is fair. πŸ˜€

I said 90%, but it’s probably more like 99%. I have the Black Gold Coiled and Mother Coiled and the Gold Emperor. And that’s it for current production. Every other thing I have is retired or limited production, and one limited edition.

90 percent of my collection is LP, while the other 10 percent is RP. πŸ™‚

I put 90%, but it’s more than that. I collect whites, I have one peacock old warrior dragon, and one gold fledgling signed by Melody. I have a repainted flap cat and the momma curled cat with the baby kitten on top(dunno what it’s called).

The mama curled cat with the baby kitten on top is the Cat’s Cradle, and it’s current production. My Web site (link below) has all the current production pieces listed, so you can use it for reference.

My collection is a odd hodge-podge of everything. I’ve got no LE (pricey!), several LP and RP pieces not to mention damaged dragons which now don’t fit any of those categories…I didn’t notice quite how many retired pieces I had til this poll though…cool. πŸ™‚

Mine just ended up that way since I collected the peacock dragons. I have several of the cats (bat wing & bird wing), griffins, wizards, and a couple of prints. The only current production pieces I have are a wolf griffin chick and a couple of fledglings.

70% of my 150 Windstones are Retired, LP, or LE.
                      91 are retired.
                      15 are LP.
                      1 is LE….
I am currently just trying to keep up with production. I have been collecting since 1986. Mostly mine are retired due to age. πŸ˜€

(But I confess to trying to keep up on the curlies and fledgies that are LP. πŸ˜‰ )

Actually 100% of mine is retired/LP, but I’m one of those who doesn’t have oodles of pieces. I only have 18 at the moment (was 19 but my daughter managed to throw a ball onto my young the other day and knocked it to the floor, where it SHATTERED 😯 ). My emphasis is on the old green color, so they’re all retired or LP- have them all yay! (or did before my young’s tragic accident πŸ˜₯ πŸ˜₯ ) The ones not available in old green, I have in emerald or empea (only the OW, who is prototype #6/10, and the curlie are empea, so they’re LP). The only exception to the green is the sitting spectral, which is a nice bright peacock.

I never PLANNED on having only retired or LP pieces, it just happened that way. I like old green is all, started buying them in ’86.:P If they introduce any new dragon sculpts (or when I buy a PYO or some candlelamps or whatever), then I’ll have something current.

In the meanwhile, anybody know of a nice yellowy-green young in need of a home lol πŸ™„ .
