So, there was some dscussion about doing some curlies… would you like to paint curlies? What, if anything, would you not like to paint? How about some mother curled dragons? A pink one sure would be nice…. 😆 😉

January 10, 2008 at 7:19 pm #654816Oh goodness… if I could pick and choose?
I’d actually get a real kick out of painting a rock dragon, big or small. Their looks lend well to ‘natural’ patterns and colors, like on lizards, and that would be really fun to do.
A rising spectral would be 1. Fun because you can put bizarre colors on them and they look good but 2. Hard because the scales are smooth. I’d love to try…! The problem is that my paint jobs look the best on things that have some texture to the scales, I think.
A scratcher would be fun and hard for some of the same reasons. I love his pose though!
A pegasus would be fun. I like working with the naturalistic looking critters.
I wouldn’t mind painting curlies/coiled dragons. That’s be neat!
Of all the pieces I’ve painted so far, I like the mother griffin the least. She is just hard for me to paint- her feathers are ‘shallow’ for brush painting and don’t look as nice as the male griffin’s do (for brush painting). I also don’t like doing PYO griffins anymore. I got seriously sick of them! 😆
The Emperors are fun, just a bit cumbersome. I don’t really have a good way to paint them as I tilt the piece every which way when I work, and those guys are heavy and I have to be very careful about his tail!

I would love to see you do a unicorn or a pegasus! I loved the PYO uni you had done for Frozen. I think I would love to see the Spectral, too!! I think the rock dragon would be very time consuming to paint by hand though! 😯
January 10, 2008 at 10:05 pm #654819I’d love to see the rock dragon….I saw one test paint they were playing with at the factory and it was really cool….
January 10, 2008 at 10:13 pm #654820Please some curlies…that’s all I can afford right now.
January 10, 2008 at 10:48 pm #654821I’d like to see a rock dragon done by you! That’d be neat! 😀

Jennifer does not do produciton only special OOAK items or maybe 10That’s true. Unless Melody and John would allow her to do a batch of her own LP ones to sell in the store.
January 10, 2008 at 11:43 pm #654825I don’t mean to be a wet blanket, but I don’t think anything I paint, even something like a small curlie, will ever be LP! Even a curlie will take me a long while to paint.
