hmmm to be honest i would have to say the antroh wolf female..i love anthros and i love wolves..but i am not a fan of female antrhos nor the current psotioning of the body of the one melody has made…now if it was male and in a better and more animalistic position i would go for it lol

It’s on the backburner right now.
Check out Melody’s other stuff there though!

My art: featherdust.comAugust 2, 2007 at 4:13 am #604495Oh how I would love a Grand Pegasus. HUGE :squeak: to bring it from back burner to front runner! And for one in black… I would sell my right arm for one! Not that it’s in good shape but, well, you can see my desperation!
I know it wont happen in my lifetime but one can always have dreams.
Thanks for finding that for her Nam… I was about to hunt for it but once again, you swooped to my rescue! ::bows::
August 2, 2007 at 12:05 pm #604496So much for this being an I-don’t-want thread. 😆
Just teasing. 😉August 2, 2007 at 4:26 pm #604497This is hilarious! It’s nice to know I’m not alone: I don’t like the violet flame, though I do want the 2nd batch curlie just so I can have all the variations! I also LOVE the sitting spectral dragon, but I agree, the eyes creep me out. And finally, the fledglings, nope. If no more came out, that’d be ok with me. The black gold coloration isn’t my favorite, but I still have one.
The antrhowolf is so cool, but I think what’s sad about animal heads on human bodies is the limitation of human speed and lack of grace (for some of us) with the animal sight, hearing & smell senses. On the other hand, every time a windstone comes out that I don’t have to buy, that works out too! (Though I’m gonna have to officially start squeaking for the BEP coiled mama!)
August 2, 2007 at 5:03 pm #604498I would prefer not to see the curlies in production.

Finally, I’m not the only one. I don’t like the curlies either. They’re just blah. I’d only ever consider getting the BG because he’s cheaper and he’s BG. But by no means will I be buying him any time soon, or at all for that matter.

Gasp! I love the curlies! 🙂 Nice to know we’re not all competing for the same things. 😉
August 2, 2007 at 6:14 pm #604501I was kinda disapointed on the size for the money on the curlies, but I got over it.
August 2, 2007 at 6:32 pm #604502I thought it was perfect for $50. I dont think they can go any lower without actually losing money on them… Thats what I would think, anyway. 🙂
August 2, 2007 at 6:34 pm #604503I guess I was thinking aroune $30 would of been perfect, but I guess that was a while ago the hatching dragons were that low for a new peice.

Yeah, good point. The curlies are so much cooler than the hatcher, though. I think everyone must feel that way, judging by how quickly they leave the store. 😆
August 2, 2007 at 6:47 pm #604505I’m not too fond of the curlies either (though it’s too bad they weren’t stable enough to be candle holders… that’s be neat) but I think they should stay limited production because they are a neat piece that is affordable for most, and yet still uncommon enough to be very collectable. 🙂

Yeah, I know everyone probably feels that they are cooler.
And it would of been cool if they were able to hold candles.
August 2, 2007 at 6:53 pm #604507All though it may seem contrary to logic, the smaller pieces actually take longer to paint and thus cost the factory a lot more than you’d think in terms of manhours (they do pay the folks that airbrush these by the hour after all ). That’s why they can’t really afford to sell them for less. Your curl probably took way longer to paint as say, a father dragon of the same color. So even though there are less physical materials that go into a curlie, they cost more to paint.
(And just so no one argues that they should lower the cost of the father dragons- that cost is accurate to the amount of time and material that goes into them. The curlies are actually underpriced 😉 )Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com
