My art: featherdust.comHow do you surf the web? What is your typical online day like? Or online hour if you only spend a little bit of time online?
Usually, for me, it’s:
++Wake up around 6am and turn computer on (brush teeth/clean animals/do other stuff while it boots and a while after).
++Check my email accounts, and usually answer about 20-30 emails right off the bat,
++Log onto the forum and try and catch every post since I last checked,
++Work work work while leaving the forum and email open,
++Lunch break- skim Deviantart and Livejournal.
++After lunch I work work work, leaving email and forum open and answer new emails, etc, in short breaks,
++Around 6:30pm we eat dinner, then I usually work a few more hours.
++Around 8pm I’m usually fed up with art/work after 12+ hours of it, so I dink around online, visiting eBay and art sites, and sometimes play a game for a little bit. Sometimes I work up till the time I go to sleep though.What sites do you like to visit? I go on livejournal to keep up with my friends, and I browse art sites a lot, places like Deviantart.com and such. I sometimes check the hits on my website and lament that I need to update it soon. If I need to really relax and wind down sometimes I’ll pop onto the http://tale-of-tales.com/TheEndlessForest/index.html Endless Forest for a little bit… it’s nice to interact but not hear people talk!! 😆 I’m also hugely nerdy and if I need to chill out I’ll plug into http://flightaware.com/ and queue up the radio traffic chatter from a major airport and listen to them bring the planes in and out.

My art: featherdust.comI get up whenever Alyssa wakes me up (usually around 7am). I feed her while still in bed because its just easier that way. Then we go into the office where I put her in her bouncer so I can log on and check my email. Then I usually check for any new messages on myspace, look at the local news website, see if anything cheap is on ebay, then check this forum and the cf forum. I usually leave my computer on all day since I’m always walking away from it to do things with Alyssa. Sometimes I manage to get some WoW play time but not very much. Thats pretty much what I do lol.
Up at 8:00, check my email. See what new manuscripts I get in the mail (I’m a proofreader for a couple so small print houses. Just started this last year). Work til 1:00, break for lunch, check my regular sites while I’m eating:

EbayWork til 2:00 or 3:00, til my brain stops working basically unless I’m under a deadline. Then it’s until I get done what I have to do. Come here, chat til my bf calls to say he’s coming home, usually about 6:00. Make supper and try to relax for the rest of the night.
When my son has school:
* 5:30AM get up turn on the computer, go to washroon (take quick shower).
* comeback to computer and log in Windstone forum, email account and eBay. Verify a few things, answer some emails then turn off computer.
* 6AM get my son up and start preparing him (bathroom, wash, dress, eat) In between all that get myself ready.
* 7AM get Michels things together and put him in the transportation for school. And I drive ahead of them for work.
* 3PM get verify the mail at the mail box and drive to the store for either stuff we need or a parcel to pick-up.
* 3:20PM get home and turn on the computer and log in Windstone forum, email account and eBay.
OR go check the flowers, do weeding, cut grass, do laundry while I wait for Michel to get home. Or, in winter, shovel snow!
* 3:45 Michel gets home, get his homework out then finish what ever I was doing before he got home.
* 5PM start dinner, feed my son then eat myself, get back to the computer.
* 7PM get Michel in batroom for you know…
* 8PM get Michel ready for bed.
* 8:30PM do a little housework and take shower.
* 9:30PM surf the net: WE Forum, eBay, email accounts, Model horse sales pages, Photobucket, webshots, Art sites. What ever take my fancy. 😉
* Wait for BF to get home so I can lock the doors.
* Get to bed 12:30AM if I’m lucky…(BF home) Otherwise get back up when he finaly gets home so I can lock the doors. (He never thinks of locking then).In the summer when my son is home then it’s very different and too long to get into. 😆
I get up and check everything immediately out of bed…then setup the computer on the kitchen counter…where I play my music for the rest of the day. I’m pretty much online all day, although not at my computer the whole time…I’ll come in and check and read things continuously through the day as I’m working on other things. 🙂 Mostly I hang out here, and on livejournal…although I do check deviantart daily…and myspace maybe 3 times a week. I check my emails several times a day too…in case someone needs a prompt answer to something. 🙂
I am a web addict. All my free time is spent on the computer. In the summer when I’m not teaching:
Wake up from 7:00 to 9:00, depending on how late I was up the night before.
Turn on computer.
Eat breakfast at the computer.
I always have the forum and ebay open, which I refresh rather frequently.
I play on my MUSH/MOO games, all Pern based. I try to role play as often as I can.
Sometimes I play The Sims, or a few other games I have loaded.
Eat lunch at the computer.
Continue to play.
Usually have dinner with the hubby (he spends most of his free time on the computer also, and we play games together).
Play more on the computer.
Sleep.During the school year most of my time is taken up with school stuff (I run two clubs, as well as teaching all day), but as soon as I get home it’s dinner time and then relaxing on the computer.
We don’t have TV, so the computer is our main source of entertainment.
Yes, I am an addict. 😆

Since I’m single, I eat all my meals at the computer. On the rare occassions I haven’t, my cats have found the whole situation very strange. (‘What’s she eating in the dining room for?!?)
Checking e-mails and Livejournal and the weather and a few other sites is what I do over breakfast in the mornings before work. I wait until I get to work to check the Windstone Forum (I usually get there fairly early). Surfing on breaks, slow periods, and lunches is the norm, then I’m on the pc all evening. Although at least it’s not always the web. Writing, editing, and art projects take up a bit of my computer time as well.
I try to limit eBay surfing except on the weekends (Fri-Sun) otherwise it’s far to easy to find all sorts of things I ‘gotta’ have. 😆 Of course, now with all these special Windstone auctions of late, I have to check every afternoon to see what’s new.
Unless I answer a couple of emails before work (approx 6 am), my webday doesn’t begin until about 4:30pm. As soon as I get home from work, I boot up my Laptop and answer emails. If I have time, I start browsing the forum for a bit, fix dinner, then browse the forum some more. I try to check yahoo news at least once a day to see what’s going on in the world. There aren’t any other websites that I check everyday, although there are several I check off and on during the week. 🙂
I generally check my email, my facebook (sometimes my myspace too), and the forum then I sometimes browse things like alternative wedding dresses (though now I found who I want to do mine, so that ones kinda out now). 😀
Then I usually do… something. Usually apply for jobs and such. I’m desperate. No one is going to hire me now. 🙁
When I’m at work, I check the forum first thing when I come in, around 8 am. During the day, I will come back to it if I need a break from work. I check my personal emails when I get home, around 5 pm.
When I’m home, I open Outlook all day and check emails regularly, same for the forum. Now I’m on MySpace, so I’ll eventually get around to knowing what to do there!
I’m not as Net savvy as a lot of people here 😳

*most of the time i leave firefox open with DA and Forum up while i go about doing stuff around the house, especialy now while i am helping get the house all set up. in between breaks i chat with PC or the person that funds a lot of my art. Surprisingly i do not get a whole lot of online messages, which is really nice. I seem to be intimidatint to a lot of people(must be all of that angsty art)
*inbetween running around, I will turn on the Endless Forest so i can listen to my deer and the other nature sounds in the game/screensaver.
*once in a while i search ebay for stuff.
and that is pretty much it.I try to get a few days in where i leeve the computer off for a while bcause of my stress levels. I have to manage that since i get stressed so easily if i do not manage my time and it ends up giving me terrible physical pain and insomnia.
I get up at 0500 or 0530 hours, check E-Bay, my MSN e-mails and the weather.
Once I get to the office I check the FailBlog, my other e-mails, and this forum and browse other sites all through the day. (Yeah, I work a fairly relaxed job in some respects. 😛 ) When I get home, though, I leave the computer off because I get plenty of it at work. That’s also why I’m rarely online on the weekends. I get tired of too much computer.Hmm. o.o I never thought about it, but…I usually glance at my email when I open my browser, since Yahoo is my homepage. Then I go to either Gaia or here to see what’s shakin’. Then I go to one of three places – Animenewsnetwork.com for news, ebay to see if there’s anything of interest for sale, or s h i t a j i k i.biz to see if David has any new pencilboards ( I had to space that out b/c it translated the Japanese word for pencilboard to “copious amounts of poo” o.O;; ). Then I’ll go to LJ and look through the comms I watch…then I might go back to Gaia and play with my avatar’s clothes or to fanfiction.net to see if there’s anything to read. e.e
Of course, I always have AIM on when I’m online, so I’m usually blabbing while I do all this. If no one is on, and nothing has changed at the sites I like to frequent, I turn the computer off and go find something else to do. >.> There’s always something. =D
