What I did today…

Here’s what I did today…it took 5 dozen roses, a bunch of carnations, baby’s breath and ferns. Not to mention frosting, lots of frosting!

It’s my friend Crystal’s wedding cake, she gets to dole it out…and I just did a drop and run this morning, since I hadn’t eaten anything since I woke.

I got up at 7 am this morning, decorated the cakes, then delivered them, waited around for them to show, bride and groom were both late, then set it up and ran away. The wedding was supposed to happen at noon, they were still getting dressed, etc when I left at 12:20pm.

I imagine they are married now and getting rather drunk…LOL! Hope they enjoy the cakes.

I do have a few roses left over though.
