November 28, 2007 at 9:36 pm #640042Since I won’t get my first handful of Xmas wishes (pos. pregnancy test, a Sunset Griffin, Windstone GC), I’m wishing for a house! With only 9 days of hunting (if starting the morning after I get there, and assuming Xmas Eve isn’t an option), I might be asking a bit much. π Maybe I should hope that we can find a car (that doesn’t suck) in that time instead. I’d be happy if my current house sold by then too, since offers have been few (and crappy).
And my last job gave us Christmas bonuses. It wasn’t a lot, but last year my supervisor (and his) went to bat for us and actually fought for it (there were several cutbacks and our dept was the only one that got anything). Definitely not the greatest company in the world, and they sure treated us poorly… but my boss did what he could, when he could, to make us feel appreciated.

I won’t be getting any Windstones for Christmas, I know that. I might get some motorcycle gear, but that’s about it. Which is fine, because I have way too much stuff anyway. I like giving better than receiving.
GB’s 12 days of Christmas:
On the twelfth day of Christmas,
Old Santa sent to me
Twelve shotguns shooting,
Eleven Stars a throwin,
Ten guns recoiling,
Nine granades Xplodin,
Eight knives a-stabbing,
Seven scopes a-sighting,
Six Snipers laying,
Five carbine rings,
Four ammo belts,
Three Mac tens,
Two Green Berets,
And suppresive fire just for me!Ski, you are a rhyming genius!!! π

November 29, 2007 at 3:11 am #640045Two things…
First for my best friend’s foot to heal up completely.
Second, my refinance to go through!
That’s about it, material things would be nice too, but mostly I just want those two things.
Oh, and a AL SK! (pipe dream)

Best of luck to you both!
Yes, we’re trying those too. Just waiting to hear back. π
Thank you!!

My art: featherdust.comNovember 30, 2007 at 1:22 am #640050I have a birthday to get through before christmas… double presents! π I’ve asked for windstones, if I’m lucky I might get a small one… I also ask for books and movies, which I usually get. One brother has just baought me a gift card to the book store for the last couple of years, he says he doesn’t know what books I want. π In our family we make a lists and e-mail it to each other so we have some idea of what to get people. I also make ALOT of cookies for family, friends and pets. Many of my friends are either male or not domestically inclinded. The boys are so funny when they get their boxes of cookies!

That’s funny, because my birthday is almost exactly a month after Christmas! (January 26.) π
