Yeah, that happens occasionally to me to. But study to me is usually going over what I already know, so the radio doesn’t bug me. And when I write, I listen to CDs or my Mediaplayer library, music I know, so I don’t even listen to the words and it doesn’t distract.

I’m busy trying to keep my cat Moonshine out of the paint, away from the brushes, etc:-/ I can spend hours doing other stuff and she can’t be bothered with me. 🙄

I can’t study and have any background noise other than family noise- no electronics- it actually makes me mad to have something else going on when I study.

For painting I throw in a girlie flick and sit about 25 feet away from the TV at the kitchen table and listen to the movie and when I need a break sit back in my chair and watch then start painting again.

Well, the PYO I painted for the swap was done during Saw 1, 2, & 3, Hostel, The Hills Have Eyes, and Shawshank Redemption =) Now that way I know it took me about 12 hours! LOL!
