Thanks to WSC, my best friend Bill will be getting his Unicorn Gargoyle tomorrow. Just today he was mentioning the one up on eBay, so I am sure that he still has no clue…yee hah! (I’m usually terrible about surprises and tend to give them away early)
My children have made out like bandits, and I fear that Karli will be overwhelmed, so I figure I will let her open her gifts throughout the day as she notices them, giving her time to examine and play with the ones she has already opened first.
Her brother will just go mad, he loves opening things, so he will be tearing into his and hers if we let him. He got everything but the kitchen sink, so I am sure he will be excited and happy.
Got hubby a few little things that should please him, a BBQ thermometer with a remote, that lets him know when it has hit the right temp, it’s nifty, he’ll love it. Some movies, and a Marvin the Martian shirt, he loves Marvin and can do the voice perfectly. I also got him a trial version of WOW, if he likes it, then I’ll get the full version.
Me, I know most of what I got, but the major one is the Oriental Sun dragon, then a baby pegasus foal, couple books, and some fuzzy socks.
Tomorrow is gonna be fun.

December 25, 2007 at 7:21 am #649856I know this is the wrong thread for this, but here is my present to DM and Frozen. Enjoy…
A little boy blows up a balloon and starts flicking it all around the house with his finger. His mother tells him to stop it as he’s liable to break something, but the boy continues.
‘Johnny!’ Mom screams. ‘Knock it off.’ You’re going to break something. He stops and eventually Mom leaves for a short trip to the shopping center.
Johnny starts up with the balloon again after his mom has left for the store. He gives it one last flick and it lands in the toilet where he leaves it.
Mom comes in and while putting away the grocery gets the urge. A diarrhea run. She can hardly make it to the toilet in time and SPLASH, out it comes.
When she’s finished, she looks down and can’t believe what she’s seeing. She’s not sure what this big brown thing is in the toilet! She calls her doctor. The doctor is baffled as she describes the situation, but he assures her he’ll be over shortly to examine everything.
When he arrives she leads him to the bath room and he gets down on his knees and takes a long, hard look at the thing. Finally, he takes out his pen and sort of touches it to see what it might be and POP! The balloon explodes and poop is everywhere. On him, the walls, etc.
‘Doctor! Doctor! Are you all right?’ she asks.
He says, ‘I’ve been in this business for over 30 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever actually seen a fart !’December 25, 2007 at 8:26 am #649857Ohhhhh that was WRONG but FUNNY! LOL 😆

December 25, 2007 at 1:25 pm #649860I got a VS gift card from Paul. His Grandma gave me a coffee cup, and his mother gave me a sweet pink sweater!
December 25, 2007 at 2:23 pm #649861Santa hasn’t been here yet… but, the cats so far have given me a piece of plastic from the garbage, and a hairball. (Oh, yeah and a stinky room….)
I’ll be giving to my parents two $25 giftcards for CARA (a group of restaurants). I’m really surprised it came in yesterday. I didn’t think they would be here in time.
My sister and brother in law will be getting a snowman sign, and some snowman ornaments.
My sister in BC will get a $30 HBC giftcard. Usefull for her since she can use it at Fields, Zellers, or The Bay.
For the people who are showing up at the Christmas meal (I don’t know who else is dropping in but, normally theres a few that just show up…) they’ll be getting various boxes of chocolate.
I’ll have to see what Santa brought me since He always stops at my parents house! 😆 (At least they get Santa, apparently my cousin gets Rudolph…. boy does that reindeer leave a mess!)
December 25, 2007 at 3:17 pm #649862Merry Christmas everyone!!!!! 😀
Today I got 3 windstones (large siamese flapcat, brown coiled mother dragon, and peacock oriental sun) I also got a digital camera, which I have been wanting for a VERY long time! I got my dog an oversized tennis ball which she is trying to get into her mouth right now (with no luck yet) 😀
December 25, 2007 at 5:12 pm #649863I got “Reserved for the Cat” by Mercedes Lackey, “The High King’s Tomb” by Kristen Britain the 3rd of the Green Rider series. A Windstone Baby Pegasus, and some fuzzy socks.
Bill’s reaction to the unicorn gargoyle was priceless, he opened the box and called me a sneaky little brat, I’d gotten him one, the one thing he wanted the most and hadn’t expected to get. *grin* I’ll post pics later, but basically he was floored and very pleased, and shocked to learn he was the first owner…it came in a Winstone box with original inserts, plastic bag, the works…first one of his gargoyles that was brand new. When I told him that, his eyes got big as saucers, that was just too cool he said.
My husband was tickled to death with the thermometer, and his little pile of movies, and he loved the dragon painted by Koishi so much, he made me put it in the curio cabinet immediately so it wouldn’t get damaged. LOL!
Alex was so excited we had to hold him back, he was ripping into his gifts so fast that we had a hard time keeping track of all of it. Needless to say, he was done opening them before everyone else, and he was the one with the most!
Karli loved all of her stuff, but is most fascinated with her brother’s dinosaurs by Imaginex…course they roar and move. She did latch on to her little baby doll pretty quick though, and overall was having a blast opening things, she actually never lost interest in opening things, and was helping Daddy with his too!
Overall I would say, outside of my truck breaking, this has been a very nice Xmas.
I hope everyone else has had a good one too!

December 25, 2007 at 5:28 pm #649864That’s great Kyrin, I’m happy your Christmas was a good one (except for the truck). I’m sure your childrens’ enthusiasm made it special….little kids are the best at Christmas! 😀
Congrats to everybody on their goodies!
My husband bought me the male Sunset Griffin (from Emerald’s Emporium – thanks Em!) and boy is he stunning in person! He’s also going to build me more shelves in the living room. I’ve run out of the room and the griffin has to stay in his box for now. 🙁 😆 He also bought me some dvds….Robot Chicken and Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Yay!). My son made me a jewelry holder out of cedar and bought me perpetual motion dolphins and my daughter bought me a blue goldstone bracelet. Great stuff….it’s been a great Christmas.
December 25, 2007 at 5:59 pm #649865My brother and his wife were in Nepal earlier this year, so we got a string of genuine Nepalese gifts! I got a small boudda and a scraf/wrap.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

December 25, 2007 at 10:50 pm #649868For the first time ever I didn’t get a windstone for Christmas… And I’m actually happy about it.
I did however get many amazing things, but the best of all were…
1) The opportunity to host for the very first time… In my tiny apartment, all of the cooking, cleaning and entertaining was my responsibility and it turned out great!
and
2) My husband got me a pair of diamond solitaire earrings. They’re gorgeous. Now that it’s over, I am content. And full!

I wanted it too, but I didn’t want to be too greedy. I love all the notes on the bottom and it has more autumn color than mine does. I was way different from the first two….look at the castle pics in my thread http://www.windstoneeditions.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5900
Also congrats to everyone who got what they wanted! Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!
