Now, I’m not asking what are your favorite possessions. I mean what are your favorite non-material things? Things you can’t really buy.
Some of mine are…
Sunrise and Sunset. Especially in the woods… they are magical times.
Warm summer nights when there is a strong breeze and a bright moon.
The silence and close feeling of a snowfall away from the city.
Sitting and watching the thunderstorms that roll through real slow, not much wind, that rumble and rumble.
Flying. Not getting to the airport or boarding or any of the other crap… just the part where you are actually in the air.(etc, will add more as they come to me)

My art: featherdust.comJuly 21, 2008 at 1:40 am #724282Sitting with my dogs when one has a head on each leg. Feeling kitty kisses at night when they snuggle in. Tail wags when I walk in the door. Cool spring mornings with a sunrise and a cup of coffee…
July 21, 2008 at 1:50 am #724283Going to the beach. Swimming in the ocean until I’m cold then laying on a towel in the hot sun until I’m warm again.
Full moons.
Unexpected kindnesses – someone holding a door or a person waving you ahead of them in line because you only have 1 or 2 items.
The first robin of spring.
Laying in bed listening to rain.
July 21, 2008 at 3:03 am #724284Times when we laugh so hard we can’t stop.
Listening to a purring cat falling asleep.
Watching the dog dream.Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

Walking in a forest by a stream, and just listening…
Sunsets. Especially sunsets on a wide open field, on a lake, or in the mountains.
Walking in the rain, getting drenched and cold, and then going home to a nice warm bath. 🙂
EDIT: Cuddling up to my fiancee in bed (how did I ever forget that one?!) 😯 😆
The look on someones face when I give them something they love. I prefer to give then to get, it’s like an addictive high. 😆

July 21, 2008 at 6:38 am #724287Being inside with a good book, a hot drink and a scented candle when it’s pouring rain and thundering outside.
Being in the woods or in a field with my dog during a light spring rain.
Watching a summer sun come up and hearing the birds.
Hiking in Graubünden (or anywhere, but I like it best there).
The first hours of a free day or the first day of a longer vacation, when you know you’ve got all the time in the world aheadof you to do whatever you want.
And of course, driving the mountain passes.July 21, 2008 at 7:13 am #724288The feel of my arms around my son and my husbands arms around me. Their smell. I love them so much.
