I am thinking about selling something for the first time on Ebay, and even with reading the rules, not all of the negative aspects of selling are always apparent, so I was wondering if you sellers have any advice or things to watch for.
I’m in the same boat as you…I need to sell some stuff on ebay but in my case it scares the poop out of me! 😯

Pros? You get a wider base of people that will look at, and possibly buy, your item.
Cons? You still might not sell, and there’s always the possibility that you might step on someone’s toes, so to speak. That, and if someone decides they just don’t like you, for some reason, they can give you a negative, and you won’t be able to give them a negative if they are a bad buyer.
Saves buyers from getting a negative from a bad seller who’s only doing it because they got a negative from you, but… there are some characters out there that you wouldn’t want to sell to.
I say as long as you follow their rules, you should be okay.
Oh, and it costs money to list an item. That… sucks. Especially if you don’t sell.
Other then that, it can’t hurt to try once.

Yeah, the part where it costs to sell even if you don’t sel the item worries me. I am not sure if I will sell my items. They are Charmed magazines starting from issue number 2. They used to be in high demand, but right now they don’t seem to be as popular.

That’s what happened with my chainmaille. No one wants luxuries anymore, when all they can afford to do is eat and pay rent…
Selling ‘luxury’ items right now of any sort is getting hard for everyone, from individuals to companies. 🙁 We all have a keen eye on the economy.
* By luxury I mean anything that isn’t needed in day to day life; stuff like food, rent, gas money…

well to some of us… having money for those things is a bit of a luxury.. 😯

No. Jen said those things are needed in day to day life.
My wording was confusing. Food isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. Decent food is a luxury for some though. :/
