I also collect books…mainly Fantasy, although I do have a few rare out of prints and whatnot. I also collect small weird things that appeal to me. Ummm pack rat like no? And togeather we collect animals *oh the shame*. We have 5 dogs, 1 cat, 1 parrot, 3 fancy goldfish, 3 tetras, and one betta.OMG! I remember those clips! I’ll have to see if I still have 1 or 2 lying around. I know one I lost due to it falling off a windowsill into a toaster 😯
There is some ’80s toy that I can’t remember what the heck they were called… They were small, and looked like a gemstone, but if you opened them up, legs and a head would unfolded to form some creature, like a toucan or a panda bear, out of the gem. I loved those!
Getting back on topic, as for collections other than windstones… I have a huge book collection (with many thousands invested in white wolf RPG books and novels), sci-fi/fantasy/historical books.
– My Little Pony (only the older ones… I have almost all of the buildings with boxes. I’m only looking for a few ponies now when I think of it, so this collection is almost put to rest for me).
– some breyers (a small collection)
– action figures (dragons, final fantasy and some random anime and gothic ones)
– Puffkins and some beanie babies… to go with the already large stuffed animal assortment (acquired over my lifetime)
– Swarovski (small, but added to when I can)
– Steiff
– Requiems recordings (I like requiems… I just do :wink:)
– Swords and armaments (small collection, sort of put on hold due to current housing status – can’t have weapons in the house due to my brother, so what I have has to stay well hidden so he doesn’t get in trouble).
– Patches. I collect patches from the countries and regions I visit.I’m a music junky *g* Been involved for years in the Depeche Mode, Savage Garden and Darren Hayes online communities. I have a “treasure chest” full of special CDs, magazines, videos, dvds, articles and so forth from those three entities specifically, with a rather huge music collection in general. I have counted my CDs in a while but it’s probably around 150+ cds now.
Besides Windstones, I collect Pocket Dragons, assorted unicorns and Pegasus (besides Windstone). Model horses, mostly customs. Plush dragons, including Disney’s 40″ Maleficent, an 8′ dragon from Russia, and a few custom plush. I also collect Jody Bergsma prints. I read sci fi and fantasy books. And now that I have a new camera, I’m looking to get back into photography.
I collect books, lots and lots of books. Fiction, and non fiction. I have a large collection of stuffed animals. I collect horses, angels, wolves, unicorns, dragons, dogs, cats, reindeer, dog grooming books and equipment, candles, candle holders. Scratching posts (my collection or my cats?), cat toys, dog and cat beds 😆 . Pack rat in other words. All this and more in a two bedroom appartment. Oh and I forgot magnets. Can’t forget those.
I used to have many many MLP, (the originals) now I have two or three. Two are those miniture special order ponies. A little blue one with no markings, and a little peach coloured one with I think white spots on her rump. I of course added pink to the ears with a highlighter. I did that with all of them. I also used to collect dinky cars.
I have slimmed down on most of my collections except Windstones. I can’t stop buying them. Not that I’d try. 😉
Besides Windstone, I collect books (mainly scifi/fantasy), Pocket Dragons, other types of dragons, some Breyer horses, Lord of the Rings action figures, Star Trek stuff of all kinds and stuffed animals. My collections are taking over the house. 😯
My main collection would be horses, mostly resins. Windstones are actually one of my smaller collections, with only 5 production pieces, and a few nekkid PYOs. The smaller collections:
geodes – I like to take road trip vacations, and often find a rock shop place where they sell whole geodes which they will cut for you
old bottles I found at ghost towns
pins – souvenir pins like from Disneyland etc. I got a really cool one there last fall, the demon from Night on Bald Mountain with his arms outstretched, and you can open or close his wings 8)

way too much craft supply stuff – I buy supplies to make something, then just get too busy, distracted, start but don’t finish – I really need to thin down this particular collection LOLI used to collect 1:18 scale jet models that I built myself from kits, but I ran out of space for them. (That was before Windstones, mind you, and I still have all the jets. 😛 ) Now I collect books (classics and military-themed) and modern weaponry.
I collect elephants as well, love the little buggers, I am a crazy dog person, I will lecture you one the wrongs of pet shops and puppymills, and tell you how to find a good reputable breeder, or tell you to go to a shelter. I used to show my dog, and will again some day, when I get a new showdog. I like to do cross stitch and crotchet, and come summer I like to spend alot of time outside working on carving soapstone.
What can I say? ANIME ANIME ANIME! I have about 4 or 5 hundred anime DVDs and ALOT of cosplay costumes, hehe =) I’m up to 75 Windstones (not counting PYOs) but I collect TONs of stuff. (anime figures, gagne’s twisted rabbits & other otherwise weird and creepy knick knacks) Windstones are top priority, but I’d say a clear defenition of my room is literlly cluttered beyond belief =)
Thanks to SPark I’ve just started fursuiting for myself a little and when I’m not painting PYOs I’m usually making AMVs (anime music videos) on YouTube or working on my manga….which I will probably be in my 90s when it’s finished! LOL!
Music – anything loud and angry =D I love System of a down. I’ve been addicted to Hinder lately though 😳

You can’t just upload from your drive, I’m afraid. The forum isn’t set up to host images, so you can’t just upload them to the forum, you have to upload them to somewhere else, like photobucket, to post them here.
I put mine on my website to post them. But wherever they get put, they have to be put in the net somewhere before you can share them in the forum.
If you want them to appear directly here, rather than just appearing as a photobucket address, you have to use the img tags (there’s a little button up above where you type in that has all the tags) and put the address of the photo in between the img and /img tags.
Ooohkaaay, I think I understand now. I will have to try it tomorrow cause right now I’m going to bed. Thanx a bunch SPark. 🙂

🙂 I have lots and lots of stuff and what I’m collecting changes often. I have a lot of comic books (<3 Terry Moore & Frank Cho), textbooks, stand up comedies on CD, movies, and fiction novels (<3 Stephen King). I receive a lot of gifts so I'm currently surrounded by stuffed animals, action figures, breyer horses, and many other things including toys from my youth. Seems like lately I've been collecting paint and other art materials as well.
