October 11, 2008 at 4:36 am #735824Gah!….I don’t even wanna THINK about snow… 😆
Shovel?? How much did you get??October 11, 2008 at 5:33 am #735825We were lucky today.. it didn’t stick around for long, so no shoveling, yet *Yay!* Tomorrow, though, is a different story. The weather folk are telling us to expect 6 to 8 inches 😯 What’s up with that?!?!? I didn’t grow up with snow! I’m not too sure I know how to handle loooooong winters… Are ya sure I can’t send it on to anybody? Frozen, I’ll try real hard to send it on to you! 😆

October 11, 2008 at 12:21 pm #735826I always welcome the snow at first, I love the change of seasons!! Then after xmas, I’m sick of it and start hating winter 😆 everything takes longer w/ boots and hats and gloves and mittens and wet socks and all that, but the kids love it and are looking forward to sliding!

How long have you lived in Idaho?? I thought you’d been here awhile. As for not wanting long winters with snow, woman, what were you thinking moving into northern Idaho?? LOL! It’s a bit milder down south, come on down! Besides, you owe me jam and applesauce for those peaches, do you not? 😆

October 11, 2008 at 1:55 pm #735828We’ve been here a little over two years. Roddy grew up here but was born in Alaska. I grew up in San Jose, Cali. There are only two times I can remember it snowing there and that was nearly a half a gabillion years ago when I was in grade school 😆 We were in Utah before here but not in the highlands. We would get snow but not so early or late in the season. Before Utah was Washington State on the high desert side not the green side. We’d get snow there, but usually a Chinook would come through in a day or two and melt everything before it snowed again; and Cali before Washington… With our move pattern, I think Roddy is heading for Alaska and he’s trying to acclimatize me by stages 😯 😆 😆 😆

Winter already yuck!October 13, 2008 at 7:44 am #735834Snow? Now? I’ll tell my brother and he’ll turn green. I hope this winter is as snow-less as the last one, at least down here in the lowlands.
October 13, 2008 at 7:47 am #735835……Snow……Ya…it gets below 65 degrees and I’m in a down jacket…. 🙄
October 13, 2008 at 7:55 am #735836That’s me too, Cat, and Switzerland’s not half as warm as Cali. 😕

Winter already yuck! Can I your weather pleeaaase?? I know I would be roasting but, I would rather roast than freeze. Mornings here started going below 5C (40ish) this week 🙁 and nights have started freezing. brrr! Anyone who wants snow you can take as much of it as you want so long as it stays far from me(Thankfully we haven’t gotten any that I know of yet).
