Too much pirates and shiny pigment paint make me… do things. To PYO gryphons! I started this guy about a week ago, but my internet’s been acting up so I’ve only been able to get on the forums tonight.

Some progress shots!

these were taken before any interference pigments got started.

now we’re getting somewhere! the deep blue pigment all over his wings is delicious 🙂

a closeup of his tail without the flash. it looks like one of the brushes i was using shed a little on his tail ;-;

quick comparison shot, with and without flash so you can see how it affects the paint.

where he’s at now! though this is a pretty dodgy photo, taken at night.
