So what not so brilliant things have you caught your pets doing lately?
This is Kimi trying to play with a moving fan (not her brightest move I admit, but not her dumbest either, she likes to fall off of the cat tree you see her on)Getting ready….
Can I eat this thing?
I didn’t do nuttin, honest!
I’m very bored, can you tell?
June 24, 2008 at 5:21 am #717277I never get lucky enough with a camera to catch my pets doing weird things, but my dogs make funny faces when I take pictures of them XD

And then there’s this O__O (they’re not really fighting, don’t worry):

Of course… they’re playing! My parent’s dog (Pixie) and her littermate (owned by a friend of ours) would play like that all the time. Pixie also used to play like that with the cat (Fluff) when they were the same size. That was a long time ago… 🙄

June 24, 2008 at 6:47 am #717280Retta does the craziest stuff. I just never bother to bring a camera to document it.
I taught her to “trim trees” last winter. I tell her to fetch a stick and point at the tree, and she’ll jump up and bite at sticks and hang on until she gets one. It’s great, because she gets a lot of exercise like that and it’s so funny to watch.June 24, 2008 at 1:03 pm #717281One of my ferrets decided one day to have a go at my mom’s clock – its pendulum. So the ferret gets ready to jump the chair, and off she goes, straight into the wall: the clock was a lot higher than she had anticipated. That was years ago; we still laugh about it.

The dresser/mirror was at the foot of the bed and one saturday morning my late husband was playing with her and she turned around and saw herself, for the first time, in the mirror and before he could grab her she jumped head first into the mirror with such speed it threw her backward. She laid on the dresser for a minute not moving. We both headed for her scared she had broken her neck or something. But after a few minutes she got up and jumped on the bed like nothing had happened.

My mom has some pictures of their only still living cat when he was a kitten, playing with himself in their bedroom mirror. Maybe I can get mum to send them to me to share their entertaining-ness…
June 24, 2008 at 6:27 pm #717285lol. I had a funny moment the other night visiting my parents. We were watching the Golden Compass and it got to the part where she was riding the bear and it was running. Now I’m guessing that little Nicky (puppy dog) was asleep on the footstool and woke up to see this polar bear running toward him on the tv screen. Because suddenly he shoots up and is barking like crazy and falls off the side of the footstool in his frenzy. We all were laughing. It was pretty funny. 😆 At another point Katie (other dog) was barking and growling at the bears on the screen too. Guess they do watch the tv with us sometimes. 😆
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
