That is so wicked! Congrats girl!!! How did you end up with the job? What I mean is did you fill out an application or how did it come about?

Um…I’m trying to think! XD I applied for a job ages and AGES ago, but not really seriously. And they weren’t hiring then anyway. And then during one of my visits to the factory not to long ago I found out they were hiring and applied in earnest. And since they already sort of knew me a bit, and knew I was moving north anyway, they gave me a shot. And it worked out! πŸ˜€

Congrats Arlla! Are you going to be painting Windstones at some point?

Maybe!! :D:D:D But if I do, it won’t be until after the move to Oregon. There are WAY to many other things to get sorted out right now…and I need to LEARN EVERYTHING OMG 0_o

We only get to see them in computer pictures

This is very true. Seeing them in person is FABULOUS.

I’ve been wanting to move to washington or oregon for a long time….but so far haven’t found a real reason to do it….

I doubt weather will be a deterrent for a hardcore Windstoner.

Hahahaha! I know! Hell, I’d move to Alaska if it meant I could work with Melody and the rest of the staff πŸ˜‰ I doubt Arlla could ever get tired of the weather knowing shes on her way to work at Windstone! As for me, being a New Englander…I’ve grown to HATE SNOW!!! *stomps feet* I HATE IT!!! …the only thing I like is my dog who rolls around in it for hours while I video tape him πŸ˜† Oh! and donuts in my truck are pretty fun too, hehe.

SO I guess it’s not ALL bad. It’s the cold and the “other” people who need to go live somewhere it doesn’t snow cause they can’t drive to save their life. My truck has already been hit 3 times while it’s been park. I got rear ended in the drive thru at Dunkin’ too on black ice last week. Bah! My poor zombie truck πŸ˜₯

Sorry about your truck, drag0n. That sux! Black ice and freezing rain are the worst. We had freezing rain last week and people were still driving the Parkway like it was a sunny day. I went by an accident that involved at least 10 cars, an charter bus and a salt truck. I’m ready for Spring! πŸ˜†

Hearing stories like that makes me glad I live in the South where snow is a rare occurence. When/if it does snow, I have enough sense not to drive in it because I have no experience doing so and there are enough crazies on the road without me joining them.

I got to drive thru Snow for the 1st time a couple years ago and it was FUN. It was just falling from the sky and melted by the time it hit that actual road but it was like going theu a car wash

We have black ice, but people know how to handle snow here. We haven’t had any real snow in the valley, though – which is okay, I guess, because if we did I’d have to take the train to work.

Oh man, it will be SOOOO cool to have the real possibility of a white Christmas next year!!! Even if I will probably be the person who has to shovel the drive way! ^_^ And I don’t think I could EVER get tired of rain!!

Zombie truck like…braaaaiiinnsss….hehe I would have thought people in the North would be Pro’s at driving through snow. I’m sorry your truck is paying for other people’s carelessness πŸ™
If we get a couple of flurries here(South Texas), like Pegasai said, everyone freaks out. “ZOMG SNOW!! AHH!!” and we all stay inside πŸ˜† My manager at work used to live in Phoenix, and said that rain had the same effect on them…”ZOMG THUNDERSTORMS” and it would actually be lightly raining or sprinkling, and he said no one knew how to drive in the rain.

But anyway-WOW ARLLA, THAT’S SO AWEOME FOR YOU! πŸ™‚ Heheh they want to give you a Christmas bonus, but they pay you in Windstones. If it were me, half of my paycheck would be going back to them anyway…so I really would be working for Windstones πŸ˜†
Is it hard to take the sculpts out of the molds? I remember Melody saying the Sun Dragon for instance, is very hard.
