Just remember Windstones are addictive
August 13, 2010 at 1:45 am #823356Thank you for the welcomes 😀 I was so busy running around reading all the PYO and touch up and swap and sell stuff that I forgot to come back here and introduce myself 😳
My name is Jerusha. I grew up in Minnesota, lived in Chicago for a while, then in Oregon (my favorite hands-down!) and I’ve been in Scottsdale, Arizona (near Phoenix) for the past 7 years or so. I have two awesome daughters – one turned 5 in May and the other’ll be 3 in October. I also have two cats and (currently) a Moluccan cockatoo.
Plus my Windstones:
Emperor, Spectral, Scratching, Male, Mother, Young, and Male Coiled, all in peacock. Plus the Inner Light dragon candle lamp. Many of which are for sale (check flea market and sale topics) so I can get some Rainbows-two of which are on their way (Lap and Young) so I guess they can be counted in my collection 😀 Once I get the Rising Spectral and Scratching in Rainbow I’ll be set (for a while – I’d also like a couple PYO dragons, and the cool trio dragon lamp, and the ivory inner light lamp. You know how it is…)I saw my first Windstone dragons in a little kite and gift shop at Seaside Oregon back in ’94 or so and fell in love – they were the best representations of the western-style dragon I’d ever seen, but I couldn’t afford one at the time. Eventually I treated myself to my first – the Young in peacock – and for about three years he was the only one I had. He traveled with me, in my van cupholder, from Minnesota to Oregon to Chicago, has been my little travel guardian, and he remains my all time favorite!
It’s a pleasure to be here among like-minded folks. Thanks for having me :hi:
