I found the board via the new twitter page, and I can’t remember how I found that. But I’m here. 😉
I have stared at Windstones in store windows for too many years to contemplate (is Wicks & Sticks even still around?), so I’ve seen all of the original ones — but my collection is very small, being two male griffins, a white pearl and a black with metallic sunset wings. As you might guess from my nick I’m partial to the griffins especially, but I love the dragons, too, and anything coming out of an egg. If I was going to buy a new one right away it would be either a female griffin (I was ecstatic when they fist came out) or a poad.

Yep, we’re pretty friendly most of the time. 😉 I like the gryphons, hoofers and poads best too. But I do love the lap dragons!!
I feel kind of deprived not to have known about this forum earlier, but I keep track of so many dang sites on the internet (facebook, livejournal, twitter, flickr, ravelry, mailing lists, on and on and on) that I just can’t remember to check up on everything all the time.
Is there a Windstone blog or newsfeed? I totally had no idea about the new spotted griffin and am absolutely coveting it to an excessive and unhealthy degree.
Most of the news comes out on here, so stay glued to us. Who are you on Twitter? I’m 2Huberts there as well.
Welcome fellow griffin lover! I believe that more of the spotted griffins are going to be made when casting gets set back up, so you haven’t completely missed out on them.
Hello, Skylover! Thanks for the welcome, and yeah, I am relieved to have not missed out on spotted females and babies, at least. 😉 It’s funny — I was just thinking the other day that I wanted to make a griffin “family” with my pearl guy, a black female, and black & white babies…
