January 26, 2008 at 7:34 pm #659400Hi!
Thank you for your welcoming words. Let me tell you a bit about me. My real name is ValΓ©rie and I am a thirty-year-old woman from Canada, in the province of Quebec. So, I am french-speaking; which means that I may have trouble understanding a few expressions ( Like “cookies”… huh… we’re not actually eating cookies, here, are we?). It’s not the first forum where I register. I am also a member of both Peter Maas’ Extinction forums (animals and plants) as well as He-Man.org’s forum. I was also registered in the now late Discovery Channel’s Animal Face-Off forum. In the Extinct Animals forum, people know me as the “plush maker”. Well, my screen name is Bowhead Whale everywhere (my screen name actually has a long story) because it’s easier for other people to recognize me. In the Extinction forum, I inserted images of many artworks of mine (animal costumes, drawings), but my stuffed animals are what kept others’ attention the most. The animals I made in plush are animals that are not so well-known from the public or rarily seen as toys in stores. You can see a few of them here:
