Ooohh. o_o; I might have to try that (getting a hard copy of the catalog). I couldn’t find them on fire mountain’s website. =0 *investigates*
Edit – You have to order $100 worth of stuff in 6 months to get the full catalog! XD Not that I’d have a hard time spending $100 there, but what! Why can’t I just buy a catalog? x_X
Arrrrr.
June 22, 2008 at 3:24 am #716601ask for the ‘favorites’ catalog… it still is nearly as thick as a phone book and it’s free…

June 22, 2008 at 4:14 am #716602If they look like they’re plastic, they might be some kind of rhinestone. I know some dichoric and lampwork glass beads are also made with a silvery backing. *shrugs* Good luck in your search!
Forever seeking: Blackwatch the raffle Old Warrior, Jennifer Miller's pieces, and GB Baby unis!
June 22, 2008 at 2:43 pm #716603I figured I should say I found some so you guys didn’t keep trying to help me. XD I appreciate all your input! =) You guys are the best. <3

There were two catalogs. XD The bigger one requires a $100 order over a 6 month period to get, the smaller one is free to any new customer. =)
July 8, 2008 at 10:59 pm #716606you could also go on riogrande.com and get them to log you on. look in the gem and findings and there you can find some awesome rocks and cabo-blah 🙂
July 8, 2008 at 11:04 pm #716607…except that rio grande requires a wholesale number 🙄

How do you get it? o.o
July 11, 2008 at 11:46 pm #716610you click the help online button on office hours and wait for a minute or two for personell to answer, and tell them that you are interested in making puschases from them if they could sign you on, should only take 10 minutes then you get yourself a username and a password and BAM you’re in
August 23, 2008 at 10:01 pm #716611Sounds like what you want are “faux rhinestones” (also seen them called “acrylic gems”) — any craft store ought to have them, though finding the smaller sizes is a little more difficult.
Most craft stores also carry real crystal ones, which tend to look nicer (smooth edges, more sparkle, never scratched up) made by Swarovski, the same company that Windstone uses, and these come in sizes as small as 5 mm wide, though the cabochon shape (smooth round ones) seems harder to find than the faceted kind.
Interested in buying or trading for: GB Pebble Sitting Red Fox in dark grey, Lap Dragon Test Paints (Water Sprite, Glacial Pearl, Opulence, Pastel Rainbow, and many others - see my Classifieds ad), Blue Morpho OW, GB Pebble Loaf dragons in blue/aqua/teal, and Griffin Test Paints (Black Rainbow or Frosted Jade).
