I remember Yonge Street – is it not the longest street in the world ? I was in Toronto in March 2000 & thought it was a wonderful city . Have you always lived in Toronto & where in the world would you most like to visit if money was no object ?
Yikes, now I get hard questions…
I’m glad you liked your visit, and yes…Yonge St. is sort of the longest street in the world but only if you ignore the fact that it changes into Highway 11. You can see it from space (but then can’t you really see just about anything from space, if you have a telescope and depending on how far into space you are).
I was actually born in Hong Kong, moved to Toronto when I was 3, moved to Sarnia (very small city on the border to the US) when I was 9, moved back to Toronto when I was 21.
I would love to visit Australia if I had the money…I love the contradiction between the lush coastline and then the stark, desert like interior. And I’d love to see Ayers Rock.
