I’m glad to hear things are going well!
While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
September 9, 2007 at 1:35 pm #614597Geez that looks rough. Thanks for the pic 🙂 I hope he recovers quickly and then he can start pampering you and the youngin-to-be.

September 9, 2007 at 5:16 pm #614600Keep us updated, I hope things continue to look good. This is going to be a long 2 weeks…I hope it flies by though.
Glad your hubby is awake and alert. Hopefully the tubes will go away soon. Not sure how all this works, and if you don’t mind, how long will it be before we know he’s going to be okay, rejectionwise?

September 10, 2007 at 12:34 am #614606They took the breathing tube out this morning. He was so happy to get it out. As soon as it was out they had him up and in a chair. It was hard for him to talk since his voice is so weak from the breathing tube. His nurse Sean gave him a shave since he wasn’t able to do it himself before he got the call. All the nurses and doctors had to come in the room to look at him since he looks 20 years younger without all that hair on his face. He got up and walked the halls two times before he was too wore out and had to be put back in bed. His oxygen sats with no oxygen on were between 95-100%! I thought I would never see him breathing so well.
Right after the breathing tube was removed.
His nurse Sean giving him a trim before his shave.
All cleaned up
First time out of bed
Walking the halls for the first time
September 10, 2007 at 12:40 am #614607That is so great!! He really does look young without his beard! 😆 I hope he continues to improve and can go home soon!!
September 10, 2007 at 12:42 am #614608This is such great news!!! 😀
September 10, 2007 at 12:44 am #614609That is so wonderful that he was able to get up and around a few times. Sounds like he is going to be just fine now with breathing too!
Make sure he doesn’t push himself too hard to recover quickly! People need to take their time recovering after big time surgeries like that. I’m sure he’s already been told that numerous times already though! 🙂 I’m very happy for you guys that things are working out now.
September 10, 2007 at 12:57 am #614610Looking great! Tell him I think he’s a looker too! *grin* Should lift his spirits a bit.
That little girl you two are cooking is gonna be gorgous.
