LOL What a joke! Everyone else gets SNOW and we get this stuff… lol 😛
Frozen knows what I am talkin about since he lives in the same town that use to get GOOD snows…

Now things are trying to freeze solid, it is currently 15 degrees, with a wind chill making it more like 2.

oh your poor grass and perennials must suffer! 🙁Well, they seem to bounce back in spring, so they must sleep deeply enough to be okay, I am only worried about our baby trees, we have two walnuts, a maple, a weeping cherry and a blue spruce that are only about 1 or 2 seasons planted. If they all come back strong this spring, then I won’t worry so much about them for next winter. I figure if they don’t die in the first 2 years, then we’re good.
My burning bush hasn’t been quite right though, it grew back last year, but didn’t turn red with the first frost like it was supposed to, but I think it froze instead of just being frosted and so the leaves got killed before they could change. Not sure how to fix that.

January 28, 2009 at 12:11 pm #750161i had no clue that Texas got snow at all , i thought y’all just got sand storms or something like that . We havnet had a good nor’easter in id say 5 years we are do for another one . the last one dumped 5 feet of snow on us
