Thanks guys. I’m really happy with how the window turned out. I can’t wait to see my room with the carpet in. I was worried about the color in there for a while, but the more we get done, the better it looks. 😀 We are so close to being able to start moving stuff in there!
Yes, there are 13 horses in it. 🙂
June 18, 2009 at 2:30 am #733666Beautiful 🙂
June 26, 2009 at 1:06 am #733667We got the carpet in this week! It’s kind of a light green. The color doesn’t show well in this photo. And today I came home and my new bookcases were up! 😀 We are really happy with them. They even have three way lights in them. They are made even better than we thought too. Very solid. Russ already has them mounted to the wall in case of earthquakes. There’s wire hanging and outlets that need to be finished, but I had to take pictures. 😀 I’ve never had nice bookcases before.
June 26, 2009 at 1:08 am #733668I like that book case! Will it be filled with mostly books or will other things go on it as well?
June 26, 2009 at 1:51 am #733669Depends on how much room my books take. At least the bottom four rows, I’m sure. I have some ideas for other stuff in the top row. 🙂
June 26, 2009 at 1:54 am #733670That lighted top row looks like it would be perfect for displaying certain collectibles. 8)
June 26, 2009 at 2:40 am #733671Love the bookcases!!
June 26, 2009 at 3:48 am #733672Very pretty 🙂
August 25, 2009 at 2:42 am #733673Well, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything here. My room is pretty much done except for more track lighting. Russ’ music room has a few more things to be done that will wait a while. He’s getting ready to paint the outside now. Once that’s done, on the the kitties pen. In the mean time, the migration has begun to my new room. It’s been slow going as some have been hard to get to (don’t ask), and I’m cleaning all of them as I go. 😀 Here’s a sneak peak.
The case with the bear on it is the jewelry case I got for Birthday/Christmas last year. I can finally use it, and I love it!
I’m rather embarrased to show these pics. My Old Warrior and Emporer spent the last 7 years living on top of my old display case because they didn’t fit inside. 🙁
After, with flash.
Without flash.
Before.
After, without flash.
Believe it or not, these guys are still mint! And with my new diplay cases, they will never look like the before pics again!
August 26, 2009 at 1:32 am #733674Love those cases. How did Russ attach them to the walls? I need to do the same for mine.
Are you planning on a house warming when this is all done? Show off all your hard work! And the Windstones. 😉 I’d come, I’m just a ferry ride away.
August 26, 2009 at 1:58 am #733675I’m not sure what we’re going to do. You’d certainly be welcome to visit once things are more settled. 🙂
Russ used L brackets attached to the top of the cases and to the wall (in the studs).
August 26, 2009 at 1:39 pm #733676I love your cabinets! What a beautiful way to display your collection of which you have a very nice one! I guess all the headaches were worth it! 😀
August 26, 2009 at 2:05 pm #733677Thank you. I’ll try to get better pictures when I get everything moved. With all the glass and mirrors, I’m finding it difficult to do.
August 27, 2009 at 3:31 pm #733678Can I move in??
Nice cases
Don’t worry I had a few Dusty Windstones too before I got my glass display cases.
I was not AS dusty but closeAugust 27, 2009 at 6:04 pm #733679How did you clean them. I have a few that need to be cleaned but last time I tried I put several chips in one of the dragons and I didn’t try anymore.
