We finally started!!…..Progress

Thanks guys. I’m really happy with how the window turned out. I can’t wait to see my room with the carpet in. I was worried about the color in there for a while, but the more we get done, the better it looks. 😀 We are so close to being able to start moving stuff in there!

We got the carpet in this week! It’s kind of a light green. The color doesn’t show well in this photo. And today I came home and my new bookcases were up! 😀 We are really happy with them. They even have three way lights in them. They are made even better than we thought too. Very solid. Russ already has them mounted to the wall in case of earthquakes. There’s wire hanging and outlets that need to be finished, but I had to take pictures. 😀 I’ve never had nice bookcases before.

I like that book case! Will it be filled with mostly books or will other things go on it as well?

Depends on how much room my books take. At least the bottom four rows, I’m sure. I have some ideas for other stuff in the top row. 🙂

Well, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything here. My room is pretty much done except for more track lighting. Russ’ music room has a few more things to be done that will wait a while. He’s getting ready to paint the outside now. Once that’s done, on the the kitties pen. In the mean time, the migration has begun to my new room. It’s been slow going as some have been hard to get to (don’t ask), and I’m cleaning all of them as I go. 😀 Here’s a sneak peak.

The case with the bear on it is the jewelry case I got for Birthday/Christmas last year. I can finally use it, and I love it!

I’m rather embarrased to show these pics. My Old Warrior and Emporer spent the last 7 years living on top of my old display case because they didn’t fit inside. 🙁

Love those cases. How did Russ attach them to the walls? I need to do the same for mine.

I love your cabinets! What a beautiful way to display your collection of which you have a very nice one! I guess all the headaches were worth it! 😀

Thank you. I’ll try to get better pictures when I get everything moved. With all the glass and mirrors, I’m finding it difficult to do.

How did you clean them. I have a few that need to be cleaned but last time I tried I put several chips in one of the dragons and I didn’t try anymore.
