Several months ago I told you all that we were going to add on to our house. Well, after several set backs, we’ve started! 😀 😯 😀 The really exciting thing is that it’s looks like we may have enough to get the whole job done. Here’s some before pics of the house and part of the work they did today. I’ll post updates if you guys are interested. 🙂

The addition is going on this end of the house. It will be 20’x32′.

The new 12’x16′ deck will go here, in the U shape created with the addition. We will be enclosing it for the kitties. 😀

We are in Coupeville, on Whidbey Island.

The digging is all done. They got it done in one day, instead of the two days expected. It looks like it will be Friday before they set forms for footings.

Awesome, I can’t wait to see it when it’s done. Your house is lovely already, but I can tell it’s much needed space. Please do include photos of how you end up decorating the room (er, at least your side of it, anyways 😉 ) 🙂

It’s beautiful there! Hubby and I used to live in Richland on the high desert, dry side of the state 😀 Your home is lovely!
