Have you seen the new marketing package Mossberg put out? I got one for hubby for Christmas. He said he wanted something for the boat…

Being it has a pistol grip, it’s not meant to be shot all the time. But the package is too cool to pass up. They have a green tube as well for the home or whatever.
I have always wanted a Sig .380, they look like sweet guns! Even the Walther PPK would be fun!
The best gun we own though is the Browning 9mm Belgium. That is smooth!February 15, 2007 at 5:34 pm #539052Phoenix, I’m really liking you! 😀 That Mariner kit looks sweet. Here’s the baby I’m after:

I almost bought a PPK once, but I don’t like small calibers. My favorites are military-issue, the newer the better. My SIG pistol is police surplus; one of my newest buys is a Stgw 90 assault rifle, militia surplus. Removing a pin can turn it into a full-auto. I love it. 😈
February 15, 2007 at 6:12 pm #539053Girl talk. You gotta love it.
February 15, 2007 at 6:14 pm #539054I fell in love with Claymore mines at first sight… 😈
February 15, 2007 at 6:17 pm #539055Whoa. Can you shoot that? I have the hardest time with shotguns. I’m only good for one round. It hurts my joints too much!
I know what you mean with the smaller rounds, but it’s such a pretty lil thing!Last Cristmas I got hubby a .416 Rigby barrel for his Thompson receiver. To go along with it, I had them make a custom stock with the best exhibition grade wood they could find…1500.00 later, he ended up with a beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful rifle. He got 2 shots off and blew the stock apart 😥 I was so disappointed, but they took the broken stock back and replaced it with a new one. Different wood, but still exhibition quality. He got 5 rounds before the stock cracked.
The gun is just too powerful for wood. The only mfr. I don’t like is S&W. I hate how thier guns shoot.
It’s hard to find other women that like firearms.
February 15, 2007 at 6:24 pm #539056Well you just found one! I haven’t shot the M4 yet, because I don’t own it yet. But I want it, despite its 2850.- (ca. $2300) price tag. I’m going to see how much passing test scores are worth to Opa. He’s a generous soul – always treats me to something when I succeed. 😀
The PPK is pretty, I’ll give you that. And it’s a neat knickknack to have around. But for real shooting, I prefer the stronger ones, .45 at the least. (Though I do admit even the 9mm kicks in my hands.)
That’s a bummer about that hybrid you gave your hubby. It sounds like a cool gun! I prefer synthetic stocks over wood ones myself. I just bought a Mini-14 with a wooden shaft. It’s very pretty, but the looks in synthetic are more my thing.
I can’t remember how S&W shoots. I’ve only been legally able to buy guns since turning 18 last year, so my collections is still pretty small at half a dozen. I do know I like Glocks a lot, even though they’re ugly. But SIG is and stays my favorite for everything.February 15, 2007 at 6:31 pm #539057Nirvanacat13 wrote:I fell in love with Claymore mines at first sight… 😈
My husband works for RTAC (terrorist squad) as well as Sheriff reserve. We get some neat IEDs! Shhh!
The company I work for makes products for DOD and such. We build cool stuff! Sadly, we don’t get discounts!
February 15, 2007 at 6:35 pm #539058I want an Opa!

Phoenix, you’re my new best friend…..Can I legaly trade Windstones for high powered explosives? *innocent look*

“It depends on what you mean by legal”…February 15, 2007 at 7:31 pm #539061Phoenix wrote:In the words of the great Clinton…

February 15, 2007 at 8:02 pm #539062Sheesh, why bother with legal in the first place? The fewer things the government can stick its fingers into, the better…
(Don’t get any ideas. My guns are all legal. Except one and a half.)February 15, 2007 at 8:36 pm #539063I don’t know GB, you can murder someone and get a lesser penalty than selling illegal firearms 😆
I don’t get the whole outlawing guns anyway. It just means honest people don’t have cool guns… I hate to use the cliche’, “If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns”.
I just like putting big holes in things. Mike shot a 30-06 through a quarter at 100 yards. He’s pretty good!
I have a kirin I painted and messed up and painted and messed up and well, you get the point. Mike wants to 45-70 it 😳
I’ve thought of putting him on Ebay saying “save this poor critter from extinction”! 😆February 15, 2007 at 10:14 pm #539064Greater Basilisk wrote:dragonessjade wrote:Greater Basilisk wrote:Congrats! Thank you. Yes, I want a smaller revolver because I have small hands and it is hard to use my bf’s guns. He would probably appreciate the guns you are talking about.
I missed this reply! Sorry for the question, I know guns don’t really belong with Windstone and this isn’t the Firing Line forum, but I’m curious – what are you getting? I just bought a Colt Police Positive. Very pretty little lady’s revolver. It’s in .38 S&W instead of .38 Spc, though, so I’m having a hard time finding ammo.
Oops! I’m rambling. Sorry!
Well, I don’t know what kind I am getting yet. I just need something that I can shoot and that doesn’t kick that much. My bf has a barreta and my hands are too small and not strong enough to pull back the top part (forgot what it is called) so you can pull the trigger. He said that a revolver would probably be better for me. Have any suggestions?February 15, 2007 at 10:16 pm #539065skigod377 wrote:You know, my bf’s dad is into guns. He just sold some pistol that he had bought 20 years ago (Or something) Well, it turns out that there were only, like, 2000 of this pistol ever made and he sold it for $800. Kinda cool since he bought it from a guy for $50. The guy who bought it now has 3 in consecutive order.
That is cool Ski. My bf also has a Utah Highway Patrol gun and he is 1 out of 3 civilans to have one. I am pretty sure it will be worth something to someone one of these days.
