Just wanted to warn anyone bidding on the Black Emerald Peacock Lap dragon on ebay (although they call it a Black Emerald Lap Dragon) that the pictures on the listing with the wood background are My pictures of MY dragon that I still own. I do not know what the seller actually owns, but it is definately not the exact dragon pictured. I contacted the seller without response and although I filed a report with ebay they have yet to take the listing down. So if you are going to bid, be careful. You never know what you are going to get.
June 21, 2012 at 6:40 pm #882171Thats so creepy . Unsettling to people who bid on ebay .
June 21, 2012 at 7:08 pm #882172Thanks so much for the heads-up and warning. I myself was not bidding, but a big thank you for keeping an eye out on eBay for the rest of us.
It is terrible someone is using your pictures!!!! You would think there would be a way to report the seller to eBay for this?!? So sorry this is happening!

June 21, 2012 at 8:10 pm #882183Thanks for the warning, I remember that auction caught my eye. I hope eBay does something about it!
June 21, 2012 at 10:53 pm #882201That auction is getting up there… this is not cool at all… It’s also pretty sleazy how they also are saying it’s a limited edition of 20 of them. Windstone has never done a run of 20 of anything as far as I know, not “Black Emerald” Laps, that’s for sure.
Got a busted Windstone?

June 22, 2012 at 2:21 am #882212It was either pulled, or it ended without the reserve being met, but it did not sell..

It ended without the reserve being met, according to my watch list.
June 22, 2012 at 6:08 am #882223Here’s to hoping that if the person is going to relist, that they find a way to get photos of the *actual* dragon they’re selling. I don’t even look at auctions that show only the store photo, or photos that I know are not the actual dragon.. I wanna see the condition and coloration of the piece I’m buying!
I would *like* to give the person some benefit of the doubt ‘n think they weren’t trying something on the sly (it’s just better to be safe than sorry, n avoid the possibility) and just didn’t have photos of the actual dragon.June 22, 2012 at 6:11 am #882224Here’s to hoping that if the person is going to relist, that they find a way to get photos of the *actual* dragon they’re selling. Let’s all hope they don’t repost these same pictures.
June 22, 2012 at 8:41 pm #882266Although this thread was made with the best of intentions, it does violate our forum rules regarding the posting of negative feedback and warnings against eBay sellers (or any off-site seller or buyer). Because Windstone also sells on eBay, it could potentially cause problems for us if another eBay seller finds out that negative feedback has been posted about them on our site. I have locked this thread to further replies.
