Wanted, Unicorn Gargoyle by Xmas if possible!

Basically I need a Unicorn Gargoyle for a Xmas gift, unfortunately someone sniped the one I was after on eBay at the last minute…happened to me twice today, hence why I was so pissy by the time I lost the oriental too.

Anyway, I would really like to get one for my roommate Bill, he collects the gargoyles, and that one has been slipping through our fingers on eBay nearly everytime we try for one.

So if anyone stumbles across one, please let me know.

I understand the pised off thing Kyrin and sympathize completely with you. Wish I had one so I coud help you out. But good luck! Honestly I don’t do so much on ebay anymore. It used to be fun before everyone was looking for everything everyone else wants or says they want. Now, it just sucks, cuz even if they didn’t want it before, when they hear you do, well its an open invitation for them to snipe you out of what you want. It’s like that last item on the shelf on black Friday that everyone wants and it ends up being a fist fight between 2 people for it. 🙄
(Was used to Nirvanacat sniping my bids at the last minute, but now jsut find it annoying. No, I don’t mean Nirvana sniping…I mean sniping in general. But it’s the name of the game. *shrugs*)

Yeah, but when you’ve tried for something 6 times, you really start to get angry. I’ve tried for a unicorn gargoyle that many times, and every time someone takes it from me at the last minute.

The oriental was just frustrating because 21 minutes from the end, I had him with a 27 dollar cover, so I thought I had him well protected, and went to make breakfast, stupid me. So I had consoled myself to the loss of the unicorn with the assurance I would get the dragon.

Then I find out I didn’t get him either and that someone here was the reason, oh that really stuck in my craw, I thought I had asked nicely enough for folks here to let me have him, guess not.

That’s just it though. Not everyone on here cares whether or not they upset anyone else. It’ll be ok, you WILL get one one of these days. 😉 That is why I find it so hard to bid against others here, but I am sure they would step on my toes at any given moment. 😕
Bt right now, all I have to spend is the GC my dad and Peg gave me for Christmas to the Windstone shop. What can I say, she loves to shop online! 😆

I’m with you Jas. I’m a do unto others kind of person, I wouldn’t want it done to me, so I try not to do it to others. Though the way eBay works, you almost have to snipe, which is a sad state of affairs.
