Oh good maybe it was just the lighting. Post pics when you get him!! 🙂
April 28, 2009 at 1:40 am #761464Let’s hope so. *fingers crossed* Will do! 😀
April 28, 2009 at 5:05 am #761465Talked to the seller again and she claims she didn’t notice the chip before. 😥
April 28, 2009 at 6:05 am #761466Meaning that there is chip there? 🙁 I’ve learned to look very closely at the photos of auctions in the past month. I’ve recieved several items that were supposed to be “mint” or in excellent condition that were not and when I go back and look at the pictures I can see where the seller overlooked the condition. Are you still going to get him?
April 28, 2009 at 6:43 am #761467Yes the chip is there. I asked if there was any damage before I bid on it and she assured me that there was none. Then I asked her again about that specific chip and she says she missed it. How can you miss that? She took a picture of it. 👿 Grrrrr. 👿 I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I was so excited. 😥
April 28, 2009 at 3:53 pm #761468Maybe you can ask her to refund some of the money so you can get the chip repaired? It looks like such a small one and emerald old warriors are getting so rare. Although it depends on if it will bother you to have him being a non mint piece 🙁

That’s a very good idea. And Kyrin (though a little backed up right now) is so very good at doing repairs. She fixed my poor griffin’s feet so you can’t tell they were broken.
April 28, 2009 at 7:18 pm #761470WOW i’m always impressed with her work. I can’t wait for my turn to send her my poor broken pieces
April 28, 2009 at 9:54 pm #761471I asked the seller to refund some of the money, but I haven’t gotten a response yet. 🙁 How much does Kyrin charge to fix them?
April 29, 2009 at 2:20 am #761472It depends on how bad the damage is. I can’t remember what her prices are though. You’re biggest cost will probably be the shipping back and forth. You could always send her a PM to ask for an estimate.
April 29, 2009 at 2:23 am #761473I think I will. Thanks.
April 29, 2009 at 2:26 am #761474I am getting so frustrated!!!! 🙄 👿 I got an emerald male today that was supposed to be mint other than the tag and box, and he was far from it! Most of the gold is worn off, he has chips and scratches every where and someone tried to repaint him with the wrong color! 👿 Why can’t people just be honest about the condition of the dragons?!? 🙄
April 29, 2009 at 4:06 am #761475I’m sorry you’re having such bad luck with your emeralds 🙁 What are you going to do with the male?
April 29, 2009 at 4:17 am #761476I don’t know. I talked to the seller and she says that I am either lying about the damage or it happend in transit. I asked how the wrong color paint got on it and she said it had never been touched up. So, I don’t know what to do. She won’t take it back so I am stuck with a dragon I don’t want and won’t be able to get what I paid out of it. 😥 I think I am done buying dragons for awhile. 🙁
April 29, 2009 at 5:18 am #761477Well if you paid through paypal you should open an item not as descrabed dispute. I had to do that once and I got my refund. You can obviously prove she knew about the damage before hand if it has paint on it. I’m sure they’d have to side with you with such strong evidence.
