Tell him it’s an investment! Because it is. They appreciate. The longer you have one, the more it tends to be worth. I mean, that green emperor, brand new, was probably not much more than $100, and look at how much it’s worth now! And some of the others go up in value even faster. And I’ve never seen one go down in value!
How many investments can give you that kind of return? You could go around trying to find stocks all day, and unless you got really, really, really lucky and did something like get into Google when they were brand new, it’s unlikely that any other investment could return better growth than Windstones will!
the Emperor’s where originally about $200. I paid that much for both my brown and green ones when they where still available for retial sales. Well within a week of them retiring that is. $200 was including tax too. It’s STILL a GREAT turn around though
I remember Melody saying they were $100… She probably meant that’s how much the factory got for them, now that I think about it.
that would make sense. I paid $180 plus tax for both mine and that was many years ago. I’m glad they are going up in value so much. I never even thought abotu resale when I bought them

Ack, I was afraid something like that would happen. How would I add it? I don’t have the program to do it. Someone want to do it for me?
I’m going to see if I can add mine in MS paint. It’ll mess up the whole composition of the picture though… 🙁 If I succeed I can try to fix yours too, dragoness.
If you guys need an image program to help you add text to your sigs, there is a free program called GIMP that you can download to use ^_^
MSPaint might not let you save your image to a JPEG, it’s been a while since I used it but that’s what I recall, that it wants you to save them as Bitmaps
