I got forced into doing a buckleys thing with my friend… I promise to make the most honest, disgusted face possible if I am picked and I think you should vote for me…
WHAT??? Buckleys is a cough syrup that “tastes bad, but works” and for the commercials they get people trying some and making a face… I auditioned with a friend for it and the more people that vote for me on the website the better chance I have of being in the final commercial…
I didn’t think so but maybe… I thought they were just going through canada for this year… maybe I’m wrong…

most things ask for state or province, so in some countries they are essentially interchangable. 🙂
Buckleys is a Canadian thing, and not availible in the States. The Motto “It tastes bad but it works” is True! The taste is almost indescibable awful but dang the stuff works on your colds! It contains natural things like Pine needle oil and is completely unflavored. Well almost. The kids version has to have some flavor to it or you’ve have to hold them down and tickle their throat to get them to take it. When I take it, I always have a glass of something citrusy to down to get rid of the taste FAST!
Well, apparently the Canadian cough syrup makers are better at telling the truth about the taste of their product… At least you know up front that what’s going in your mouth will be foul. Not all this “tastes like cherries, tastes like grape, it’s great!” …And then it’s awful anyway.
I will vote for you! 😀 You must be brave to willingly take that stuff… 😉
Buckley’s tastes bad enough that my Aunt won a weirdest/grossest sister contest because my Mom likes the taste of it and Bayer Asprin!! She chews up Aspirin when she takes them and since she has bad Smokers cough follows it down with a large mouthful of Buckley’s. This won over many other “entrants”!!
