She had said eariler that this one is an old russet curl that happened the be a little heavy on the violet. The new violet flame curly is much more orange along the spine scales (like the VF fledgeling tummy) and have red eys instead.

I didn’t even know there was a backorder option. Howzat work?! Not sure I like it either (though I say that now when I haven’t needed it)

There isn’t an official way to backorder, because it creates a lot more work for the office ladies, and causes some problems like this. That’s why they made the Windstone store. If possible, please just wait and buy them though the store. There will be more (again). 🙂

I think the problem is that the casting department is really swamped right now. They have a set amount of things they can cast at any given time. But, patience will be rewarded! 😀

Nope. Makes me wonder if they have a certain number in mind, though. If they are limited production, then they wont make them forever.

Phew… I guess I got lucky when I happened to be home to catch Dragonessjade’s update. Hurray for work’s AC being broken 😀

YAY I got mine! He’s beautiful…but the paint job on him, I’m really dissapointed with. The antiqueing is very sloppy. There’s lots of blue on his head, non display side wing, underneath his wing there’s a huge splotch. There are a few discolored places, one on his leg, where the gold isn’t quite right. It really bothers me, but they’re sold out again, so I may have to deal with it, unless by odd chance someone likes the blue and wants to swap.
