I can do them!
I have in residence a nice vinyl printer/cutter, several colors of vinyl and a roll of vinyl that can be applied to interior walls and removed without harming the paint is on the way.
I’ll happily take orders, but what I’m fishing for right now are ideas on what y’all might like to see as wall decoration (or decals, or phone skins, etc.). In other words: Please save me from the crude old man jokes, fire/police/so on symbols and race car decals I’ve been helping my father print and cut while we figure this machine out.
I figure most of you guys know what a vinyl decal is, but for those that don’t, it’s basically a really robust sticker that can generally be found on cars as those silhouettes or sayings (Or Calvin peeing on the cause of your choice), but are used for lots else too.

February 2, 2010 at 8:39 pm #804631I think that’s something they’ll have to ask Melody for.
Edit: That is to clarify, Snerl’s rights belong to Windstone and I can’t just cut decals and sell them without their permission.
February 2, 2010 at 8:53 pm #804632*snerk* I know. I’ve told me boyohs that, but they’re just impatient little buggers at the moment and I don’t think John or Melody has answered yet… *silly boyohs 😀 *

February 3, 2010 at 4:37 pm #804635I can’t afford anything at the moment, but do the graphics need to be vectorized?

My art: featherdust.comFebruary 3, 2010 at 7:10 pm #804636It can print pictures, but there will need to be a vector path wherever you want it to cut and the file needs to be an EPS. I can do it for you, but if you know how to use the pen tool and have Illustrator or Corel Draw, you can do it yourself, too.
Edit: Long answer to short question. Sorry. 😳 Short answer is yes, eventually the image will need to be vectorized to some extent.

Ah I see! No, I only have Corel Painter, so no vectors for me.

March 11, 2010 at 1:58 am #804639And we have a t-shirt printer now too. Like, put a t-shirt in it, hit print from Photoshop or Illustrator and it prints on the shirt.
March 11, 2010 at 2:09 am #804640hmm.. the t-shirt thing got me interested… I just don’t have time to find what I want to put on it yet..
March 11, 2010 at 2:17 am #804641There’s a note with info on SWG’s facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Steel-Wolf-Graphics/57513839355
March 14, 2010 at 4:40 pm #804642Well… Didn’t Melody say she wanted to do the Snerls? Why not ask her if Windstone would like to order some so we can all get some? Seems logical… 😀
