Strangely, I came across these two completely by accident. The first one is pretty recent and as a soon to be novice PYO painter, I found it really interesting and well made:
How to antique a PYO by SagiAparri:
This one by the very talented Jennifer is older, so many of you might not have seen it. All I can say is :jawdrop:
I hope you two won’t mind that I reposted them.
But I also wanted to take this opportunity to ask if any of the other wonderful artists who post here were so inclined, I’d love to see more tutorials like these!
interesting..I may have to poke these when I start my first PYO soon….
4 things I'm looking for:
1. Mother Meerkat
2. production color Sitting Young Oriental dragons to be made in more colors besides VF, Brimstone would be awesome!
3. Female Griffin – Siamese with White
4. September Raffle Prize 2022 AHD Male Griffin
I saw Aparri’s a while back. One thing I got out of it was the turntable. OMG does it make a difference painting the heavier pieces like the keeper. I was having troubles maneuvering it because it’s too heavy to comfortably hold and spinning it with out the turntable was a pain. Now it spins round and round. I couldn’t find any painting ones like he has so I bought a plastic cake turntable which are everywhere. Thanks Appari for the inspiration. (Though I notice that Jen uses one too)
