Apparently today there was the worst school shooting in U.S. history. My heart goes out to the family and friends of the 21 dead. I pray the number doesn’t rise. Is there anybody from Virginia on here that might know more about this tragedy?

Engaged to a WeaselI just know what was posted on a car forum I visit alot. They are saying that some guy got into a fight with his girlfriend then shot her and a couple other people in a dorm. Two hours later he went to another building and shot a bunch more people. Mind you this is from people who are in lock down on campus so I don’t know how accurate it is. I can’t believe people can be so crazy and heartless.
Yeah. I have been watching it on the news for the last hour. 🙁 There were 31 or 33 dead, last time I checked. My heart goes out to that community, too.
Yeah I am here in virginia and they are not showing anything else on tv cept the footage from the school. My partner went there for college about 10 years ago..same dorm too. Scary stuff. And our cell phone lines around her are jammed…you can’t even check your messages.
My heart goes out to these poeple.Good God! What the hell is this world coming to?

I can’t even imagine the terror the families must be going through trying to get news as to whether their son/daughter/etc is safe. And for the families who are going to get the worst news – my heart just bleeds for them. And the family of the gunman – they are going to have to live with what he has done while grieving his death.
That’s awful! My father and uncle live in VA but this is the first I’ve heard of it. Monday is movie marathon day at our house so it’s been all disney, all day. What school was it? How long ago did this happen? 😯
Virginia Tech and it started about 7:15 this morning, I think. The story keeps changing – I think things are mass chaos down there right now.
This is horrible. Why would anyone do this. It’s so sad, I feel so bad for the families my heart goes out to the families.
