Is this why I crash into walls all the time? I’m not kidding. You aim for the door, but I always catch my arm on the jamb or kick it with my foot.

I don’t eat properly so I’m sure the vitamins are screwed.

I don’t know, but it’s bad. All I do is spin around the bathroom floor until it goes away. Usually a few hours…

I just saw this news thing with a lady that had a snake in her head! 😮 I need to stop googling!!

My mom has bouts of this she thought it was an inner ear infection, then they thought it was a dislocated jaw, nope it’s arthtis in the jaw, that’s causing her Vertigo. Oh and we also both get it as an allergic reaction to Perfumes. (that, it with a sh at the begining, is insidious an in virtually everything.) 🙄

If you don’t want to go to the dr. you can go to a Wal-Mart pharmacy, or any drug store, and get “Bonnine” it is an over the counter item and is the same as meclazine (anyway that’s what the lady at the pharmacy told me) and you don’t need a prescription for it. I have had dizzy spells occasionally and it worked for me.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I’ll have to give one of those a try… it’s a lot more then dizziness though. Have you ever had those dreams when your running away from someone and you keep tripping over your own two feet? It’s like that and the exorcist combined. Like…. I’m actually starting to get scared.

Vertigo is not just dizziness for me either. When I get it, I start to sweat and see stars. Then I feel like I’m going to pass out… tunnel vision and everything. I actually have passed out once from it… at my dealer’s table at a convention. Not good. I needed to have someone walk me to my hotel room because I couldn’t walk on my own, or stand on my own. Then the nausea starts. Everytime I blink or move my head at all, nausea. I’ve been very lucky to not vomit from it, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t feel like it.

I’ve had it while I was driving. That was scary. Meclazine evens it all out.

Then try the meclazine. Seriously, it works.

I’ve only had vertigo one time and it was not fun at all. It came on me while I was at work and had some of the symptoms that emerald described (tunnel vision, nausea, spinning world). That was not a fun day. I was at the office early and no one else had come in yet. I had to call my brother to come pick me up because there was no way I could drive in that condition.

If I remember right my vertigo ended up being tied to an ear infection. *Shudders* I don’t ever want to feel like that ever again. My sympathies to you both drag0nfeathers and emerald.

I get it from time to time too. Never when I’m walking or driving or anything like that. Mostly at night, when I’m laying on my left side. It’s weird, all I have to do is turn over and it’s better. I get inner ear infections and my doctor told me that because I have a sensative something or other that these infections cause my vertigo. I also get motion sickness very easily and she said they are related.

Absolutly try the Bonine. It is meclazine and works wonders. It may make you a tad sleepy, but not like dramamine or benadryl. I also used to take it for nausea during pregnancy. Now I take it when we drive for a while or if I’m on a boat.

I’ve never had anything like that…sounds miserable. Did you try the stuff em suggested? I hope you’re feeling better, especially with the other stuff you’re going through. *hugs*

I went back to the chiropractor earlier in the week and I haven’t had another attack so I think I’m improving. He thinks it may some way be attributed to stress. I haven’t tried the medicine yet though. After the day I had today I think I probably should. Thanks for worrying though <3
