So what prompted the pattern change? The new one’s are really cute. Are there going to be more version 2’s or is the next batch going to be a version 3? 😀

These were painted by a new painter in a new shop in a new state so instead of going crazy trying to perfectly match the old beagle griffins, we painted them the way we wanted them to look now. They are new and improved. I like the crisper markings and tan eyebrows. The next batches will probably differ a little too, because we’ll keep evolving the pattern, but I think unless they change a whole lot we will still call them version 2.

I think they are lovely. I just hope they stay around for a bit (like into/through winter please).
September 23, 2009 at 9:39 pm #784444Do you have any idea when we can expect the next batch?

September 24, 2009 at 8:19 pm #784449I’d might nab a Male Griffin if more were made. I really like how this version looks 😉 .
September 24, 2009 at 8:33 pm #784450All I need is the sitting chick. My order of the other family members may be delivered today–can’t wait to see them up close! 😀
September 25, 2009 at 12:36 pm #784451Oooh, might have to splurge if they’re considered “version 2” then. Thinking along the lines of the brown griffs.
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
September 27, 2009 at 3:31 pm #784452I have both version one chicks… but I want a male. So I would love to see more made 🙂
Not sure about the eyebrows though. They look alright on the male, but the chick in the store just look weird with them lol.September 29, 2009 at 6:36 am #784453I think the only thing I dont like about the new version is they have too much white. A few more black patches would set the pattern off a bit more nicely for me anyways

That’s good to hear. The next month is just going to be tight finance wise until just around holiday time. I so hope old green fledgies don’t appear again during this time. *fingers crossed that they wait a little* Gives some of us who have to wait a little a chance to save up and get something, especially since the batches are on the smaller side of things at the moment.
