Took more pics, in the full sun…helped alot.

I hope to get a good side view later, but for now this will have to do.

Here’s a side view, colors are still off though.

You can’t really see it here, but she has a lot of purple interference. Her colors are silver, black, purple interference and golds.

Took her out into the sun, updated the pics, they look better now. Still can’t really see the interference paint much, and her mane is silver and black, but the black seems to be dominant here.

Eyes are pink, I thought a vampire kirin should have pink or red eyes, and hubby said they should be pink.

kind of like one I did…but mine was blue…with light blue eyes….they could be twins….

Looks great! I really like how those scales look. Though I would have gone with red eyes personally.

Thanks, the pics still don’t do her any justice, she is just so pretty in person, it kills me that I can’t get a better image.

I can’t wait until the wings get here, that is really going to make this one, I think.

Then the next trick will be getting good enough pics for eBay. I really need to look at my camera settings and see if there is anything there that will help.

well….try doing it in indirect sunlight….I usually do it inside next to a window…so it’s still really bright….but not too bright….

You missed that convo, it’s in the Winged Kirin subject, we were talking about bat wings, and I got the idea of a vampire kirin. Finally figured out what I wanted to spend my ill-gotten gains from the dragon PYO sale and bought the kirin.

Now I have more ill-gotten gains coming, because the red gold dragon spawned a commission from an eBayer. Yay, more PYOs!

I know, I was joking. Looks like my hope of having my PYOs fund each other so I can keep painting new ones without ending up with a pile of them is working.
