This little guy has a HEART SHAPED TONGUE! It is so cute you want to kiss him (but perhaps not!) The eyes catch the light to make them look like they have little LED’s in them! He’ll make an excellent Valentine!

Valentine’s Day Vampire Bat . I had to have the little guy . So cute . My Valentine’s Day present to myself .

Nobody knows better what to get us for Valentine’s Day than ourselves, Sasha! Maybe I will use that as my excuse for having bought it too! I’m sure if I had a Valentine, he would want me to have it! 😉

In reading about the etymology of my last name, I learned that it was derived from the word “Bat”, which may explain why I have always had a fascination with them and Vampires in general. (I’ve read the Sparkly Vampire bashing rants, but let’s just remember, when it comes to bagging on mythological creatures, it becomes a slippery slope! LOL!)

I saw the brown version of the bat once while traveling, but I didn’t feel like I could get it home safely, so I am happy to see that this little guy was offered. 🙂

I was just putting away my Christmas decorations last night (yes I have procrastinated) and pondering whether to pack up the little bristley bat ornament I have or leave it out when the email came in about this little guy. I took that as an omen. 🙂

I have always loved bats . I think thats what attracted me to vampires . Old movies and books had them able to turn into bats or wolves .
I happen to make furry bats . Fantasy stuffed bats out of fake fur . I have toy bats as well .
So this bat is my Valentine bat . Prefect . Romantic little guy .

What can I say . I’ve always felt I belonged in the Addams Family .

I have flap cat with red eyes and he’s creepy .( he’s a repaint ) I’d love one with those kind of eyes . Black cat with hades/ruby eyes .
A wizard mouse too . I loved that pink one with red eyes !
