November 14, 2007 at 3:43 am #629811That is so good. His throat is probably sore because he meowed himself hoarse in the shed. It will probably get better once he can relax and rest it.
Serenity, your two snuggle kitties look so cute in that chair!
November 14, 2007 at 5:17 am #629812Thanks Emerald! Its a picture that makes you wanna say “Awwwwww”… lol
I had a kitty once that was an indoor/outdoor kitty and I let him out once and he never returned… 🙁 I had him for 7 years. I do NOT want that to happen again!
Tripp He was soooo cool. 🙁 1989-1996
I am so glad that Buster came home and that he is okay!!! 😀 YAY for eaglefeather831’s grandmother!!!
November 14, 2007 at 5:17 am #629813YES! Im so pleased that Buster has returned home! I’ll have to let everyone know, eagle. And definitely, he has laryngitis from meowing in the shed. Once he rests his voice, it will likely return as good as new.
When Phoenix (kitty in my sig) was meowing at my door as a stray several years ago, he was SO loud (still is; he has oriental in his breed) I thought it was one of my cats meowing inside! And this was through closed windows and up the stairs! I just kept saying, “Jester, zip it!,” figuring he was just bellowing for food as usual. Though admittedly at the time, I thought his voice a bit off but figured it was cause he wouldnt shut it.
When I went in search of what was the persistent meowing, my cats were accounted for so I was confused and realized it got louder in the stair case leading down to the foyer and front door. When I opened it and knelt down, up jumped this blue grey ball of fur (thinner then and not so Buddha’ed out as in my sig) leaped into my arms and mushed his face against mine (marking me as his immediately). In a separate room (didnt know if he was clean and healthy & didnt want my cats to get sick), we slept on the floor together- Phoenix curled up in my arms in the crook of my neck, purring the whole night away. Since then, he has become a severely (no, really severely) mama’s boy. They do seem to know when you save them from any kind of uncertain fate.
So glad Buster is home and now has a new sister to play with. Hierarchy will be established soon enough and theyll work it out.
November 14, 2007 at 10:44 am #629814Yay! That’s great news: -)
Beautiful babies, Serenity. I’m so sorry Tripp never came back, though. 😥
You’re right, PT. My Domino was half starved when he turned up in my backyard. It took a while for us to get him inside, but now he is the biggest mushy mama’s boy. 😆
November 14, 2007 at 12:52 pm #629815I’m so glad he was found! With some rest and food he’ll be good as new! 😀 😀 😀 😀

That is the way to go! I think my grandma has learned her lesson because she said she won’t let him outside anymore!
Awww…Serenity, you have cute cats!! It’s too bad that Tripp never came back.
twindragonsmum, I will tell her to give Buster hugs and belly rubs, but knowing him, he might get a little frisky with that kind of attention! I tried to rub his belly once, and he bit my hand (very gently though) but then he jumped up and scooted away. Haha-he’s so playful though! 😀
And Pheonix-thank you for everything you have done for Buster, and thank your friends for me too! 😉
Ok, it’s off to school now-But thanks to everyone!
November 14, 2007 at 4:57 pm #629819I’m so glad he returned! And he’ll probably be happier w/a fellow kitty in the house now, so that worked out well.
Serenity: PC & Mouse, too cute! 🙂
