WOW I got mine for $750 the first day the catalogs hit!!
All the stores have been closed for a number of years now. They closed about the same time they changed the quality they stock. I want to say around 2004??
It’s a shame that they changed too. They used to be such a GREAT company to collect from.That’s great that you got a bargain and #1 in the series, to boot! 😀 Every once in a while, I look at their website, but I haven’t seen anything I’ve liked in years. It is a shame they’ve changed their quality.

I think it was on clearance for like $250 plus shipping and tax so like $300 and I sold it to her for $350 and I delivered it to her on the way home from a Windstone Factory visit

Did you guys see this! The FRANKLIN MINT BRONZE DRAGONS CLASH OF THE TIME LORDS was originaly $599.99 then she increased it to $699.99 and now with 16 hours left she increased it again at $899.99. Make me wonder if she really wants to sell.
I know it the same auction since I left it in my ‘watched items’. 😉This seller has had several of these listed over the last 8 months or so. I’ve been watching ’cause I want one (but just can’t afford it right now). They have offered them at different prices from what I’ve seen. Sounds like perhaps they had a bunch of them- maybe ‘leftovers’ from the franklin mint?
