What is your typical day like? What is home like (apartment, house, suburbs)? Any favorite breed of pet? How about favorite Windstone peice? Any cool hobbies or talents?
I don’t have typical days right now. I’m not working right now (I lost my last editing position at the beginning of the year, darned recession). Let’s see, I usually get up when bf gets up (6:30 am), make him his lunch to take to work, then go back to sleep for a couple more hours. 😀 Most of the time right now, I’m spending on organizing wedding stuff. Man, I don’t understand how people can do all that and work at the same time. 🙄 I’m doing it without a regular job and I’m wishing I had a wedding planner to help. Every weekend for the past month we’ve been visiting at least 2 wedding venues to see what’s available and costs. We have 3 more this coming weekend and then we’ll have to make a decision on where to hold it. Then it gets fun…not. My dress, invites, flowers, cake, photographers, dj’s. When I start to bang my head against the desk, I take a time out. I go for a walk or paint (working on a Blue Pearl PYO dragon).
Anyways, home is a small condo/townhouse smack dab in the middle of Toronto. The row of townhouses we are in are 4 stories but they’re split in half, so we have the bottom two levels and we have someone living above us. Our neighbors are great, very friendly and all but I really would like to move sometime soon. We’re totally out of space and I want to have a yard and be less crowded, I miss having a back yard to lounge in, since my backyard is right now a lane way between two rows of townhouses.
Pets, I have two really, really spoiled cats. I’d love to get a dog but not until we get a bigger house. I’d like a pure breed dog but we’ll probably go to the Humane Society and rescue one instead. Everyone wants the puppies, I feel so bad for the slightly older dogs that are there…
Favorite Windstone piece, I love them all so I’m not sure I can pick just one. For the dragons, it would have to be the OW, at least until I get a Secret Keeper. I love the Flapcats, the Poads, the Orientals…the list goes on, though my wallet doesn’t. 😳
Hobbies? Reading and painting. I read a lot. Mostly fantasy, urban fantasy, horror…Some of my fav authors are: Simon R. Green, Stephen King, Anne Bishop, Guy Gavriel Kay…so many books and so little time. I’ve had so much fun painting the PYO’s even though some of them end up with really hideous paint jobs. I can’t wait to get my hands on a PYO Keeper. That should be interesting. 😀

Thanks for sharing! The Keepers were alot of fun to paint. I really hope they come out again soon. Sorry you lost your job. Are you looking or waiting… till after the wedding perhaps?? 😀 That sure sounds like alot of work. Is it gonna be a very large wedding? And forgive me.. I have not been around much.. but when and where is it?
On another note, I am glad you are thinking of resisting the lure of a pure bred dog and thinking of going for a shelter dog instead. And if you search petfinder or even the kennels sometimes, many purebred dogs are found there. I will get shelter dogs from here on out. Cheaper and if you get an older one, they are already housetrained!! Puppies are way too much work!

I’ll probably look for something part time…though I’m tempted to wait til after the wedding, but we could use the income towards the wedding. Guest list is at 120 right now, possibly more (my family is huge and they all have to be invited or I’ll be disowned). It’s going to be here in Toronto, October of next year.
And thanks 😀 I love puppies, they are so cute but I just can’t justify it to myself to get one when their are so many wonderful older dogs that will eventually be put down just cause they aren’t so cute anymore.
And I do hope we get Keepers out soon, I only have one PYO left and I’m jonsing… 😀

It’s a PITA is what it is. Just my family comes to 80 people. Big Chinese family so everyone has to come. I wish I could have one like yours!! It looked so nice and relaxed. 😀

Well there is something to be said for both version. I cant wait to see pics of yours. I assume you will be sharing? 🙂
