So I’ve posted about this just about everywhere, but it’s so weird and neat and fun that I want to share!
I got commissioned by a gal whose character has a twelve foot long tail. Why? I have no idea. But I’d wanted to tackle a super giant tail, and she was willing to pay a decent price for the thing, so two days ago my fur arrived and I set out to sew the monstrosity together.
Today I finished, and this is what I had.
It has four yards of fur in it, ten pounds of stuffing, and a heck of a lot of reinforcing on the belt loops! I managed to cram it into the largest box I could find, and tomorrow I’m shipping it out.
That looks really neat! Its definitely the biggest tail that I’ve ever seen. 😆
Can a person actually walk around wearing a huge tail like that? 😯
Well, if everyone behind them is paying attention!
I suspect that it’s going to be draped on the bed and used as a body pillow more then worn, and that when worn it’ll end up carried draped around.
Heck, you could probably be perfectly decent in public wearing nothing else but that thing, wrapped around.

That is very, very cool. I’d like to see it being worn with the rest of the costume. Or you could roll it up nice and sleep on it, too. Multipurpose tail, woot!
